Diamond Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Oslo

I had the worst dining experience of my life at this restaurant on Valentine’s Day. My partner and I had booked a table in advance, excited to celebrate in a place we used to love. Unfortunately, the night was completely ruined by an incredibly rude and unprofessional waiter.

We ordered a dish to share and a side, as we don’t eat much. From that moment on, the waiter became arrogant and started pressuring us to spend more, implying that we weren’t welcome unless we ordered more food. His attitude was unacceptable—condescending, unpolite, and completely out of line.

After treating us with utter disrespect, he went so far as to kick us out! On Valentine’s Day! I have never felt so humiliated in a restaurant before. What was supposed to be a special evening turned into a complete disaster.

I will never return and will make sure to tell everyone about this awful experience. If you value good service and respect as a customer, avoid this place...

I went to this restaurant merely based on the ratings here on Google maps. It did not look like much from the outside and, for a regular restaurant, the interior decoration had me wondering whether the ratings can be trusted, but I was in for a big surprise!

This must have been about the best Indian food I have had in my life. Lovely marinated meats, delicious dishes and, as seems to be the norm in Oslo, food of very high quality. Add in the friendly personnel and you really have place to go. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service. Fantastic food. The food was really amazing. Me and my fiance went here for valentines, and we were not disapointed. We had a rose at our table and a beautiful spot in the corner of the restaurant. The food was a little spicy so my fiancé ordered a mild dish while I ordered medium. It was a little too spicey for my untrained Norwegian tongue, but after the first few bits it was pure joy and really a gastronomic experience. Would recommend for anyone, big or small family, friends or work partners. You can expect to pay around 200NOK per person per dish and 30 extra for nanbread and other things you might want.
