I had a fantastic experience at Espresso House on Aker Brygge! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a modern and stylish interior that makes it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel truly valued as a customer. The coffee was delicious — rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. This was probably the worst experience we had. We order a jucie/shake. It was pre-made and just taken out of the counter. After tasting it, it really tasted bad. A plastic/ chemical tast. We went back an complained. We got this 'look' that we where wrong, and while she made a new order. She went over to the counter got a new one from the batch, tasted it. Got her colleagues to tast it. While complained that she couldn't tast anything wrong on this one (it wasn't ours she was tasting). And her colleagues lowdly stated that the customer mustn't know what they where tasting. Really rude treatment. Will never step into that store again. I paid for the order. After that, the cashier informed that there were no dishes and served cakes in a bag, although the order was on the cafe. I asked for a normal cappuccino, but they punched a double in the bill, I asked to make a normal cappuccino, but no one thought to return the money for the difference. There was no place, everything was very dirty, we had to eat cakes from bags and drink coffee from paper cups. I paid 250 kroner for 2 coffees and 2 cakes, but for the service and taste it was worth no more than 50... Not recommend, find smaller cafe not monopoly cafe and enjoy your time , don't waste...
