I have been a customer in Espresso House for many years now and I am feeling really disapointed about my last experience two days ago. I was bying a sandwich and they charge a much higher price than the label. When I asked they said this is the morning price but they don't change it during the day.    Read moreThe bathroom was very very dirty. It was more like a dodgy bar bathroom than a cozy coffee shop. It had dried excrement on the rim, no hand towels, no toilet paper, trash on the floor, trash bin overflowing.
The place itself looks and feels like such a cozy place, but the more you look the worse it gets. The furniture has a lot of wear and tear, nail sticking out and generally not well maintained. Lots of small pieces of trash everywhere on the floor and the place just looks un-washed.

The hot chocolate was rich, velvety, and not overwhelmingly sweet.
The iced matcha latte was okay. Refreshing, yes, and well-balanced on the ice-to-liquid ratio.
