If you’re looking for a place not to eat, this is the spot for you. We walked in, dreaming of some tasty nibbles and a glass (or three) of wine. We were seated quickly, which seemed promising — little did we know we had just been seated at the Table of Disappointment.

After 10-15 minutes of playing hide-and-seek with the waiters, we found someone to ask… only to inform us that due to a private event, no food would be served to anyone outside said exclusive party. That would’ve been great to know before we sat down, got comfy, and started imagining fries piled high and crispy.

Also, don’t count on understanding anything — no English menu in sight and the staff didn’t exactly jump at the chance to help.

So unless you enjoy watching other people eat while you sip on a wine of confusion and regret, maybe skip this place. They may have a kitchen, but it’s apparently...

If you want actual good food do NOT come here. Food is actually awful AND overpriced for the quality. I’m not even a picky eater and I came here while I was STARVING and I couldn’t finish my dish. The portion sizes are big (only pro?) but that’s it. I ordered the beef strimlets and I would’ve been better off getting this at a kebab shop, genuinely had no flavor, overcooked, just really bad. My mother ordered the chicken tandoori and I dont know what they served us but it was definitely not what chicken tandoori is. Only good thing was the sweet potato. REALLY BELLOW MID food. Disappointed to be honest. Paid around 650 kr for this and was not worth a...

We are visiting Norway from the United States and our very first taste of the country was at this delightful seaside restaurant. We were greeted by a sweet server who gave us "carpets" (actually blankets) , English menus and heaters for sitting outside the pattio .. She made us feel welcome. The venue has huge glass windows and is surrounded by yachts and sailboats. We had the fish soup, bruschetta, and a local favorite called biffsnader ( chopped steak with mushrooms and peppers and onions and bernaise sauce). This is an absolutely wonderful spot and we're so glad we started our visit to...

Sourdough bruschetta was not with fresh basil, sourdough bread was not sourdough. The cheese on the top was not parmesan cheese. The swiss burger was without mashrooms and pickled onions. When asked about missing things they gave one little piece of mushroom with hint of pickled onion. 1664 Blanc beer was not tasted like rich 1664 blanc. It was flat. We were told that they have less people so expect delay, so not taking it in account at all. It was still full. Unfortunately, I wish I could give it less rating than one.

Frognerstranda Kro, located in Oslo, offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with a lovely seaside view. It serves a varied menu, including both modern and traditional dishes. I ordered a glass of Ringnes beer, mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, pasta medusa with beef as the main course, and chocolate fondue for dessert. They were all good. My bill came to about 700 NOK (RM 280) for the 4 items.
