The place to go if you want value for money! Just go for the set meze menus instead of ordering small bowls yourself - it’s definitely better for the selection and the price. We did the menu with grilled meat per person for 399nok each. So much food. Food everywhere. Too much to finish.

We really enjoyed ourself and compared to other meze places in town, we left feeling very full. This is not a pretentious or fancy place, but home made and flavourful food.

We got a very big and wide selection of food and flavours. Loads of meze dishes I have never tried before. Big plus for that. The surprising winner for me were the brussel sprouts, and we had some very nice chicken and sausage dishes.

Only thing I would have wanted differently was a bit more bread to scoop it all up with.

Staff seemed quite nervous and spoke so quietly that it was near impossible to hear what you were served, but I’m sure the staff we got will feel more comfortable soon with some practice!

This is a Palestinian restaurants offering a very tasty and enjoyable food experience. You need to get through an alley on the left of the main road to find it... the customer service was very efficient and pleasant while the price a bit high but I would suspect very much in line with Oslo (my first day here hence cannot compare yet many places). What I found interesting is that when you order the mezze platter (6 small dishes... really good and tasty) you cannot order any specific one as it will depends on what is available on the moment... maybe not what one would expect (e.g. if I pay I want to be able to choose - just to be clear, you can choose between vegeterian option and meat, and 1 of the dishes will be hummus... but the others are a surprise basically)... but at the end of the day, as long as you are happy to go with the flow... if you like that sort of cuisine you should not be...

Great Palestinian/Libanese Mezah restaurant in the middle of Oslo city center. Visited on a Friday evening with a very busy restaurant. We had to wait quite a while to get seated but cause we came 10 min early it was no problem. Booked in advance for 4 pax and the table was ready on our arrival. Order drinks (3 beers 1 white wine) which arrived swiftly. Few minutes later we made our food order and it arrived as fast as I've seen or well faster than anyplace else (within 5 minutes). I ordered a chicken stew and my 3 fellows went for a shared Mezah. The food was really good and service was friendly and on point. Skipped dessert (cause we were more than full) and the whole dining experience was done in 40 mins which was perfect since we had a full planned evening ahead. Would...
