Big Horn Steakhouse Møllergata — Restaurant in Oslo

Was very quiet when we were there. We were 4 people. But were the only people in the restaurant. So, in fact we got personal service. This was very very good! Substantial order done with starters, and extras in the main course. Everything was fine taste and well prepared! Delicious! However, one side dish was not well received. Consider also our language problem. We had ordered something with potato was only slightly different than expected. Staff was well noted only meant and wanted something different. This was not a problem. Side dish was prepared and arrived at the table. This turned out not written separately on the receipt. So for free. Very neat, because it even had our own fault. The wrong potatoes ordered was our mistake! The old ones we could just keep on the table and eat. After the desert we were given extra coffee on the house. As a thank you. It was not a very good experience !!! The servers were just chilling on the couch and even didn’t bother about us ! Also forgot that we had ordered some starters .However the food was not that bad . 5 out of ten . Also something ridiculous is that the menu said the gin&tonic was $$$ but we ended up paying more than the actual price ! Which i think they should say in the beginning if they were charging more and as we explained that the price not the same as of the menu . The server replied “ its the company’s rule !!!! And that’s it nothing more . Just blamed the company. Also we were served gins in some horrendous glasses ! Never going back and wouldn’t recommend anyone to go as well ! Terrible ! Real solid steak dinner! The entrecote / ribeye was made medium rare as ordered. The creamy mushroom. S worked really well and their signature patatoes were nice with the sauce it all came with. The red velvet cookie dough desert was also quite alright. The beer they serve was not very tasty (but it was cold). Stay away from the espresso - it was not good coffee.

Service was good. The waitress was super sweet and made sure I had what I needed.

All that and it was a solid experience without being amazing.
