Went last night and had a mixed experience. When we approached check in desk for our reservation, a brown haired girl saw us and then left the post. She wandered around the patio then looked at us again and diverted eye contact and ran into the restaurant. This left us standing at the desk for about 6 min unattended as the male server was handling multiple tables on the patio. He sat us when he was free and was helpful and friendly.
She took our order and seemed fine now that she was āassignedā to us. Then over the course of the dinner she was weird again. She scolded the table next to us during some payment transaction and the male waiter handled it. She rolled her eyes and kept saying āI asked them ..blah blah.ā Very unprofessional right in front of guests. When they brought the food the male waiter noticed as we were finishing apps we didnāt get bread or wet naps with our shrimps so he brought us some. He even gave us some more shrimps- so kind! Not necessary but truly elevated our experience. The girl saw us get more shrimps and demanded over and over if we ordered more shrimps and why we had more shrimps. He had to take her away to explain. She looked very upset when we had more shrimps.
When time to pay we asked her for the check. She said sure thing. 10 minutes she kept attending to other tables. We asked again - āsure thingā. Another 5 and sheās doing other things. I flagged the male waiter again and he brought check immediately. His service - 5 stars. Rescued her 2 star service. So strange how defensive she was during interactions. Maybe it was a language barrier or cultural issue. Very weird.
Oh food was ok. Shrimps fantastic. Aged sashimi also incredible. Snow crab was so - so because it was drenched and overpowered by garlic butter. Fish and chips were not great because greasy / gooey batter and fish was dry.
All in all - the girl needs to be trained. Food was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBro thatās so hot in there and itās so squashed and thereās so many flies around I canāt even move never recommend this āthingā this place is disgusting. They canāt even afford any air cons. And also thereās literally only so little non alcoholic drinks. They have like 100 pages of wine and like not even one quarter page of non alcoholic drinks. This place is literally disgusting. It has nothing except for Pepsi for the summer. I bet the flies fly around all of the forks and knives. Bro the sanitation is terrible. Why can a restaurant be so squished? I canāt even get into my seat normally. Thereās like ppl everywhere and if you didnāt reserve a table you are forced to seat outside which is literally better than sitting inside bruh. And also why is there like only oysters to eat. Bro I wanna eat other things like tuna or sth. They literally canāt afford normal tunas and force us to eat this disgusting oysters. This dinner ruined my whole trip at Oslo and i still has like 6 days to stay here. This is the worst trip Iāve ever been in in my whole life. I also waited for like a billion yrs for like only pepsis and itās not even cold like itās been in the fridge. It literally feels like not even in room temperature. Itās like it was put it lava for a trillion yrs. worst place ever. I hate this. And the tables are so small they canāt even put anything on it. I really donāt get how this place has 4.4 stars. I will give this place 1 star using all of my accounts. Bro I literally drank all of my drinks and the food hasnāt even came. The fine oyster is so disgusting. It literally only tastes like Iām eating sea water mixed with sand on the beach. Bro and why are there like random shells inside the oyster. I nearly die for that. And after I ate the oyster I drank like a whole bottle of the Pepsi and the sea water taste is still...

The moules frites look inviting, with a generous serving of plump mussels garnished with fresh herbs and accompanied by a perfectly grilled lemon wedge. The accompanying fries are golden and crisp, with a rich aioli on the sideāa comforting yet sophisticated combination.
The fish and chips dish stands out with its beautifully golden and crunchy batter. The fish fillets are thick and perfectly fried, suggesting a moist, flaky interior. The addition of pickled garnishes, a bright lemon wedge, and a luscious tartar sauce adds a burst of complementary flavors.
The seafood chowder is presented in a way that evokes warmth and indulgence. Creamy with visible chunks of fresh salmon, mussels, and vegetables, it looks like a dish that would be deeply comforting, especially on a chilly Oslo day.
