Nedre Løkka Cocktailbar & Selskapslokaler — Restaurant in Oslo

Atmosphere was good, so we ordered 2 mojitos. To my surprise THEY WERE PRE-MADE!! The bartender poured 2 unmarked bottles into a glass with ice and served them in under 10 seconds with a smile then charged 346kr. Possibly the worst mojito I have ever had. I asked if we could get cocktails that were made from scratch given the place is literally called a ‘Cocktail Bar’ and apparently all of their cocktails (that are not cheap) are made a few days in advance because they need to manage “volume”. Talk about a joke of an experience. When I asked a second time, if we could get cocktail properly made and also explained the issue, the manager just repeated the same formula pouring 2 different unmarked bottles into a glass with ice. Wow! 🤦‍♂️ Their excuse was “we do not have time to actually make fresh drinks, so make them in advance”….ok. That would be fine if the drink price reflected that…. It doesn’t. So if you are on a date or just want a proper cocktail go somewhere else where you get to see what’s being made and appreciate the process. If however, you you want a pre-made overly sweet drink with no idea (as you never see it) what or how much alcohol is going in to what you have just paid a top dollar (Kroner 😅) for then go here. The most horrible service I’ve ever had. The bar was not busy so when I entered I was told to choose a seat and the server took my order. Before the drink was even made, the server brought me the terminal and said abruptly that I have to pay now. I asked if I’m supposed to pay per drink, which I thought odd, because it doesn’t really encourage you to order more drinks, and she said yes. Sure enough, 10 minutes after, two (other) American sounding ladies approached the bar to settle up their tab after they were done. But I thought we had to pay per drink? Or maybe only I did? Now something seems off. Neither the bartender with the beard who actually made my drink nor the woman who took my order even looked my way, much less ask me if I wanted anything else even after she swiped my glass once I finished my drink. She did however have plenty of time to tool around on her phone and talk to the bartender who both let me sit there being unattended to, in an almost empty bar. After probably 25 minutes of being ignored, I left. Traveled all over the world and this will stay with me for all the wrong reasons. Worst bar in not just Oslo, but the world. Overpriced and only serving pre-made over sugary drinks that are watered down. When you question them they just give you attitude. Google reviews that are good are all fake to only outweigh the negative ones such as mine. I have spoken with others who after leaving a negative Google review there were multiple 5 star reviews within hours to keep the rating high and get their review pushed further down. Clearly they are paying for fake reviews or just doing it themselves. Their service is appalling and staff are rude. Plenty of other very nice bars to go to with drinks worth paying all around here. Avoid this place unless you want a very bad beginning and ending...
