Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and more than happy to help foreigners (like me) figure out local specialties. The service is excellent, unless you’re in a hurry (which you shouldn’t be, you’re having a nice evening out, just enjoy it). One bartender taught us a fair bit about Norwegian gin and aquavit. He could do wonderful things with coffee and a few liquors, too. The waiter we had on the restaurant side knew the menu well—food, beer, and wine—and was similarly friendly and helpful.
The ambiance is a laid-back kind of semi-formal. I like it, but it could be an issue if you don’t see well in dim light.

The only food they serve are hamburgers but they serve french fries separately.
The staff really can't handle much cash. They are counting even the most basic things slowly on calculator and even then they will give you bad amount.
Staff sometimes forget about you and will serve you your beer after 20 minutes.
