This is a dine-in restaurant with seating for around 20 people. The waiter was very friendly and explained me the items on the menu in detail. They have a very small menu of starters and mains, and a large selection of drinks. I ordered the croquettes for the starter. There were 4 of them, one made with cod fish, and one chicken. They were each fluffy on the inside, and crispy on the outside, felt like they melted in my mouth. The seasoning was also well balanced. Two of them came with some type of sauce which I think is a homemade garlic sauce, it tasted fresh. Although the fish croquettes seemed flawless, the chicken one I received was less warmer than the other ones and fell apart in my hands unlike the fish one. Maybe it needed to be fried just a bit longer. For the main, I got a pasta type dish that was recommended by the waiter. Unfortunately I was not a big fan of this dish. The texture of the pasta was smooth. The flavours were fairly mild, but very fresh. The meal was appropriately warm. The portion size was much smaller than I expected for a main course. It was good, but felt underwhelming for me. All food was cooked to serve. I think the prices are fair given the quality of ingredients they are using. However, the portion sizes were fairly small, so it is a bit pricey in that aspect.

Excellent food @burro.stvgr ! Everything from the juicy big olives, the patanegra on a white pizza, 3 types of croquetas, the cèpe risotto, the N’duja sauce with pork ravioli, the gnocchi with fresh basil sauce, the ragú lasagne - all finished with a lovely homemade tart! Was amazing! And Sundays they have a tasting menu 😋 PS. One of the best lasagne I have had in years ❤️

I ate here last week, on my first trip to Norway and had a delicious meal. The owners are very passionate about their food and this was evident in the dishes- absolutely the freshest produce and great wine to match. I’d definitely return next time I’m in Stavanger.

Recommended by a colleague. I highly recommend it. We warned that we were arriving at 8.30 pm and he kindly waited for us (in Norway to eat it is already late at that time). Upon our arrival, the staff made us sit down and showed us the menu, also advising us on which dishes to taste and which wines to take. He was very kind and friendly and very comprehensive. We took a menu consisting of a taste of various appetizers including bruschetta and homemade pizza, a first course of homemade tortellini and a selection of desserts including a delicious tart with homemade jam. The dishes are very good made with local products of...

We fell across this unexpectedly on our first night in Stavanger , honestly we were blown away with the food. The service was so personal friendly and they lead us through their menu, its origin and the faithfulness to the food is something we haven’t experienced anywhere in the UK or abroad befor. We ate the best Italian food in Norway!!! The owners are developing and I think are in their way to something unique. Hi with an open mind, let them show you what to eat…. Thanks to the owners/ chefs we will send everyone who...
