Iâve been to several Sabrura restaurants, but this visit started off quite disappointing. The food was okay, but service was very slowâeven though there were only five families in the restaurant. We arrived at 18:25, expecting to have plenty of time to eat, especially since the restaurant is advertised as being open until 22:00. However, we were informed they would stop serving at 19:30, which was unexpected.
What made it worse initially was the slow pace of serviceâwe barely had time to choose, and many items became unavailable. The atmosphere also felt tense due to how the staff interacted with each other, which came across as unprofessional and created an uncomfortable vibe.
That said, things improved towards the end. The staff noticed our frustration and made a genuine effort to compensate. They quickly served the food we wanted, were kind, and did their best to turn the experience around. The atmosphere became more pleasant, and we appreciated their willingness to improve the situation.
This visit had a rough start, but their effort to make things right was noticed...

I understand they try to cut the budget⊠and I donât feel like coming back. 279 nok for such buffet is waaay too much now. If I want a good sushi with a decent amount of fish I would prefer to order...

We would have left if we hadn't already paid for a buffet, we thank the server for the help a lot and she did the most she could in the situation she was in. The chef was uncomfortable and unhelpful, and like he scolded the server for asking to make salmon sushi for us. We got the feeling of being watched through almost our entire meal by the very angry and annoyed chef, it seems asking for sushi that wouldnt possibly kill someone was a terrible...
