Terrible! The owner publicly screamed at paying customers who were celebrating a friend’s birthday! I came with about 19 of my friends to celebrate a birthday. We occupied two long tables and naturally, we were talking and having a good time as most of us hadn’t seen each other in over a year. To our utmost shock, a staff or the owner (not sure who he was) came out and screamed at all of us, asking us to keep quiet or leave the restaurant! For context, we were all working class, African men and women in Norway, in our late 20s and 30s. Of course there’s nothing wrong with needing silence but to openly scream at paying customers is a NO NO!! We would never step a foot in this place!

Thankfully we found a much better and accommodating restaurant called Thai Dinner Asia (highly recommended) close to the Stavanger oil museum where we were able to continue celebrating our...

Visited China Town recently. The vibe and interior design are quite nice, creating a pleasant atmosphere. However, the service was noticeably slow, which took away from the overall experience.

As for the food, it's a mixed bag — not particularly impressive, but not terrible either. It's worth trying once, though it didn't fully meet my expectations based on the glowing descriptions.

We ordered the Sweet and Sour Duck, which ended up being only sweet without the balance of sourness. I'd rate it 3.6 out of 5. The Sichuan Pork was expected to be salty and spicy, but it was mostly just salty. Still, it was slightly better, deserving a 4 out of 5.

In summary: nice place, average food, slow service. Good for a casual visit, but temper your...

I ordered the fried rice. It came with chicken, shrimp, and several vegetables. Overall it was a satisfying and filling meal. The rice was mixed with a good amount of vegetables and protein. Everything was warm and the flavours were uniformly spread out, so each bite was the same. It also did not feel oily, suggesting it was fried well in the right amount of oil.

The meal was seasoned fairly mildly, it was tasty, but not packed with flavour. I would have preferred a bit more soy sauce to be added. The chicken and shrimp did not feel like they were marinaded or seasoned prior to the cooking. They felt very plain. I also could not tell if the ingredients were all fresh, I would not be surprised if some of the vegetables and meat...

I ordered the Kung Pao chicken, and it was great! Very tender chicken, a good portion, and very flavorful sauce. I also swapped the white rice for fried rice, which was also a tasty side. The interior is very unique, the location is incredibly convenient downtown, and the staff are all very nice and helpful! I could've maybe used a bit more salt with my meal, but that's not a big deal AT ALL. This place is great.
