This is a large restaurant and bar with a very rustic feeling atmosphere. The vibe certainly feels older.
The staff were friendly, I was seated right away, and my food came within 15 minutes of placing the order. I decided to get the chicken burger which came with fries and a garlic sauce. The meal was warm to the right amount, and not very hot. But I suspect some elements of the dish like the fries may have not been cooked to serve which is okay.
The fries were slightly crispy and soft in the middle. The fries themselves were good, but certainly not double or triple fried crispy. However the seasoning and sauce made up for it. I am not sure what the seasoning was, maybe some type of grated chees, salt, and herbs, it was very good. The garlic sauce was also unique, not too strong in the garlic flavour and had a mixture of different flavours. I tasted some lemon, garlic, mayo, and cheese. Overall I really enjoyed the fries with the sauce.
Now getting to the burger, this was certainly leagues above a fast food burger. The buns held their shape and were not soggy or mushy. It was fairly easy to eat. The chicken was indeed very crispy as advertised. I believe it was chicken breast, it was well seasoned and tasty, and also likely marinaded as I felt it was internally seasoned. The portion size of the fried chicken was great as well. The burger includes sauces and coleslaw to the right amount. However I do not think there was any cheese in the burger. The flavours of the overall burger were good, beyond mild, but not very strong either because of the missing cheese. Overall it was a well balanced set of flavours, I like it and feel the chef has thought carefully about the design of the burger. At some points it felt a bit dry given the big chunks of chicken breast, only to a small degree.
Overall I really enjoyed this burger meal and would come back to try their finger food. The price was fair for the quality and the portion of food...

Vi gledet oss veldig til Ä feire venninnen vÄr som skal gifte seg i sommer, og valgte Foosloose fordi det sÄ lovende ut. Dessverre ble det en stor nedtur.
Allerede ved inngangen ble vi mĂžtt uten et smil, âheiâ eller noen form for velkomst. Vi var 14 personer, men ble plassert pĂ„ det trangeste bordet de kunne finne â noe som gjorde det vanskelig bĂ„de Ă„ sitte og bevege seg.
Da vi skulle bestille drikke rushet en skallet servitÞr med briller, selv noen tok litt tid for Ä bestemte seg hva de ville ha , ga han en kroppssprÄk om at vi var trege og virvet med hÄnde at vi mÄtte bestille med engang og dro vekk fra bordet uten Ä si noe , noe som er kanskje vanlig Ä si "jeg kan komme tilbake om noen minutter" eller noe sÄnt enn bate virket surpromp.
Maten kom raskt, og vi tenkte ikke sÄ mye mer sv det. Men siden vi hadde to bord plassert rygg mot rygg og bestilte sharing-meny, synes jeg det var merkelig at rettene ikke bare ble delt opp og servert til hvert bord. I stedet mÄtte vi snu oss og sende maten mellom bordene selv. Dette fÞrte til at to personer ikke fikk maten sin fÞr vi fysisk overleverte tallerkenene fra bord til bord. Det synes jeg var dÄrlig planlagt og lite gjennomtenkt av restauranten
Maten var god, men litt senere merket vi at kylling vinger vi fikk servert var Rà ( legger til bildet. PS: det var bare noen av dem, den jeg som var skikkelig rÄ fikk jeg ikke tatt bilde fÞr de tok det). Det var veldig tydelig at det var blod og rÄ, sÄ jeg sa ifra til servitÞren og tok tallerken til kjÞkken - flere som reagerte Ä det fra andre bordet ogsÄ. Noen minutter senere kom hun tilbake Ä forklarte at det skulle vÊre sÄnt(??) og gikk.
Vi fortsatte Ă„ spise, men opplevelsen ble bare mer og mer forstyrrende. En servitĂžr begynte Ă„ rydde tallerkener â ikke bare hos dem som var ferdige, men ogsĂ„ fra de som fortsatt satt og spiste. Det fĂžltes veldig respektlĂžst og stressende.
Like etter begynte flere gjester Ă„ ankomme, og plutselig ble det satt sammen et ekstra bord helt inntil vĂ„rt, mens vi fortsatt satt og spiste. Ingen informerte oss om hva som skjedde, og alle i vĂ„rt selskap ble forvirret. Vi oppdaget at de hadde delt et firemannsbord og gjort det om til et tomannsbord for de nye gjestene, rett ved siden av oss â tilsynelatende for Ă„ gi dem en âkoseligereâ opplevelse. Men hva med oss, som allerede satt der og feiret?
Dette kunne de enkelt ha gjort etter at vi var ferdige. I stedet ble vi Ă„penbart hastet ut. Ingen smilte, og servitĂžrene himlet med Ăžynene â vi fĂžlte oss rett og slett uvelkomne og i veien.

   Read moreWe don't go out to eat often, so having wasted an outing on this place was disappointing to say the least. From the moment we stepped in the service was abrupt, clipped and rude. We arrived early so it wasn't like it was in the middle of a dinner rush, but the waiter hardly spoke to us. We came in, not to a "hello", just a "here" as he pointed us to our table. Between slamming down water bottles, telling us to move our chairs because we were in the way (we hadn't moved the chairs from their original place), and communicating in clipped, one-syllable sentences, it didn't matter that the food was good. Because the whole time we couldn't get over how unwelcoming it was. There are plenty of better - and friendlier - places to eat...
