Editing this review from 5 stars to no stars cause honestly I don't know what happened to this place. I ordered tea with milk. I got grey colored cold water. can't really talk to the waiters there cause they look underage and they roll their eyes for no reason. So here is how to make tea with milk. You boil half a cup of water and you pour it on the tea bag pr tea leaves, you wait for about 2 to 3 minutes then you fill the rest of the cup with hot milk. You need to let the tea in the water for a few minutes to make tea and you need to heat the milk. Please...

Perfect place to relax and spend a few hours. Good coffee and a huge selection of teas, as well as delicious looking cakes. We had hot chocolate made with real chocolate and it was perfect. Great beer selection too. Very cosy inside with bays, tables and stools to sit on, lovely out front where it gets most of the sun on the street, and out the back is an enclosed patio with tables and benches. Clean, nicely decorated WC. Lots of books and boardgames to help you unwind. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and it all attracts a great crowd of locals...

Unbelievably good atmosphere. It doesn't seem like they would have either food or drinks, but they have an excellent selection of both; on top of that, good coffee. You could easily have a brunch here, as well as a beer tasting. Don't forget that there are board games galore free for use. There's an inside garden area that people may miss, although there isn't too much room in general. The best part: open on Sundays too. Cakes are excellent, and the chilli cheese croissant perfectly crispy. French press and filter coffee are...

Loved the atmosphere but the cakes were overpriced (78 nok for just a slice of carrot cake?) 🥺 this too is fine since the cake and coffee were good but honestly i dont get the concept of tips? Why ask for tips in norway? If we want to give it we should be willing to add something on our own and not be asked for it by the barista/person on the kasse.. that's honestly the first time in norway that someone asked me for a tip and it was really sad. The service people shouldn't have to rely on tips and should be paid better wages.

We come in on a Sunday to Stavanger with P&O, most of the town is like a ghost town however there is a few bars around the colourful street and on the harbour open. I knew of Boker og Borst before I arrived so it was firmly on my list of visits. On entrance to the bar the place is covered with plants and funky décor. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We did find the beers a little on the pricey side but we agreed it was worth the spend for the atmosphere. I come away with a t-shirt too. Do visit on your trip!
