I visited the restaurant one time during my visit to Stavanger. I have ordered an Arabic Shawrma meal. When I received my order and start eating, it was like the last plate in the kitchen and they were just trying to fulfil my order anyway. I was starving after a long driving trip and just discarded the unexpected taste until I was about to hurt my teeth or tongue with a sharp bone that was inside the meal. I took it out and decided to show it to the cashier when paying the bill. There were two standing there and non of them cared about it or even say sorry and just said "Ja, that could be because the Shawrma is new", although it was obviously not and it is not even a good reason. However, they tried to charge me a different price from what I actually ordered assuming that I ordered it and I was about to pay by contactless card until I noticed the price on the screen of the payment machine. I stopped the process and asked them to change the price for me and they just did it without even feeling sorry again. Nevertheless, they had two sizes of Arabic Shawrma on the menu, medium and large; and the waiter was supposed to ask me which one I want but he did not and just leave assuming that I want the large one. However, I called him back and told him to make it medium and he did I checked with him again when he brought the order since it looked small and I thought it may not be a medium one. On the other hand, the place was nice and calm but in conclusion, I would say that the restaurant with the same quality, prices, and services is not worth it and two stars in my opinion could be more than enough in my situation. Delicious lunch in the heart of downtown Stavanger.

We spent the day walking around and decided to try Aladdin based on the great reviews.

We were greeted by one of the nice owners. He even gave us each a shot of super refreshing mint lemonade to try. It was so good I had to order a glass. And I love their mission statement on the menu.

We decided to do the Mezze Mixed appetizers and 2 entrees. Beautiful plating, fresh ingredients, and I loved to variety.

Everything was so good, and this was one of the top three falafels I've had in my life. Perfect crispiness and paired well with the hummus.

The Kibbeh on the appetizer platter, the cheese cigar fried in phyllo and the baba ganoush were standouts as well.
