Stop the press. What a treasure to have in town. First of all, the museum is a gem. Interesting and great to see and experience. The cafe, now we’re in business. We heard the sandwiches were great, but we didn’t expect them to be fantastic. Chef, if you’re reading this, TUSEN TAKK for making each sandwich equally great as the next. They say you can taste when something is made with lots of love, well these sandwiches must’ve been made with an extra dash of sweet love. We, a group of 7, all had sandwiches and each was made to perfection. Shrimp sandwich, outstanding. Chicken sandwich, simply amazing. Please allow the pictures to speak for themselves. And go and check this place out, I am sure it will soon be soooo popular you will not be able to get a table. And of course, the lady serving us, thank you for your kind service, patience and your advice. You made our experience special. ❤️❤️❤️🇳🇴

We just passed by this area so found this cafe on the google map so give it a try as it’s time for our lunch. Luckily the staff manage the get us a table inside. The sandwich served in big portion and the presentation is quite pretty and colorful. We find the crap is a bit too salty for us. We ordered salmon, crap and shrimp sandwich and we recommended the shrimp and salmon ones. The staff is friendly and assisting us very well.

We were hungry and having trouble finding a restaurant that was open in Stavanger on a Sunday so it was a great surprise to find this lovely cafe housed inside the IDDIS museum. I was served such an innovative and tasty open-faced sandwich at the IDDDIS cafe, that I would gladly come back again if I was in the neighborhood.

It was a horrible experience. We were looking forward to grab a sandwich there with our kids. Me and my wife took a sandwich and the kids wanted to share one. The male owner said that this was not possible. We told him that it’s too much for them if they take one each. He said that I have to shut my mouth and act like normal white people. When I told him that that is racism ( we are black ) then his blond wife showed up and said that if the kids are not that hungry, we have to go back to our poor Africa country where there is not much food. Our last day in Norway ended in a...

We got there at 2pm. There was a lot of people, so we knew we had to wait a bit. The lady at the counter said clearly we should wait at the table to be served. We waited. And waited. Some people that came after us got served before us, while we weren't even asked what we'd like. After 35 minutes of being completely ignored (the waiters clearly saw us and even pointed at us) we just decided to go away. I understand being busy and understaffed, I really do. I don't understand completely ignoring clients and serving...
