Nice place, cozy, good design, funky, dark, fashion and modern. Came there at 4:30 because i was tired, so nobody was there, which was good for introvert like me. I tried laksa ramen and karaage. If you are a sensitive asian, you immidiate get the greese vibe of hongkong dishes, in a positive way. Lemon cuts on the karaage wasnt consider genius by me. Was really hard and can’t squeeze to the chicken. The spice powder on majonese is just for color, you taste nothing. Karaage was greasy, thick, bit stinky, some nice crips and not become soggy. Major was very fatty, creamy. The “bouillabaisse” noodle was really strong and overly salty. The shrimp with the head on was nice, some fishcakes, a piece of tiny fried air tofu, got 2 shrimp, and some bits of squid. Was nice. I was so hungry but give up the dish almost half unfinished, for the broth was too salty, and jesus i have never ate any ramen, jjamppong, or any European soup that was so heavy the same. I wish it serves with some pieces of lemon, because then it helps refreshing and maybe it could save your dish from embarrassment throw up customers. Rather say i’m still having nightmare of it now. And for such a strong broth, guys you know what, they use so thin noodles, and either it’s so hard to pick up, noodle splashes from easy pull, i have to wipe myself a lot, and i have asian chopstick skills. Imagine some poor Norwegian who still learn to hold chopsticks on their 1500th sushi encounter. Staff probably see i start taking pictures so its not count, but i got a nice one this time from the door walk in. Didn’t drink 🍺 Overall it was expensive for just food, concept tries to be creative, but ends up so so, easily pass the eyes of people who never got to get out of Norway to eat smt hella delicious, and would disappointed the most open minded foodnerds.

High end Asian menu, with a bit of everything focused on noodles. They even have ramen (a tonkotsu) which was mediocre at best. The KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) looks amazing on the menu, and the presentation is not too bad. But the “kimchi noodles” is basically a package of Korean instant noodles, topped with cheese, and quite nice, deep fried chicken with a Korean sticky sauce. The taste is ok, but this must be the most expensive package of instant noodles I have ever had! The Pad Thai is not bad, but the of lack proteins (chicken, tofu, shrimp) for this price is not good. All in all, for a place that calls itself “Noodle Noodle”, the attention to the noodles is sadly lacking. It would have been fine if the price had been considerable lower.

Big kudos to the owner and host extraordinaire Gary and the very talented head chef Eirikur for a wonderful dinner experience. I came with 11 people for the Chef Eirikur tasting menu. It was so delicious, interesting and satisfying. Our group had a fantastic time eating and bonding over the food we shared. We enjoyed the lovely hospitality and greatly appreciated the attentive care Gary gave to the dietary restrictions in our group. The restaurant atmosphere felt comfortable and relaxed and open, which is perfect for taking people on an inventive culinary adventure. 😍

Food and service was average. Not to interesting flavors at all cause of the noodles beeing a total joke flavor wise. Tonkotsu ramen 🍜 soup was not authentic and tasted a little grainy, gives the impression of the bones were blended in a blender to extract more flavor. Egg was overcooked and not marinaded. Meat was ok but could be slow cooked for longer. Beef brisket noodle 🍜 was more disappointing, the noodle was not to our taste sadly beef and bok choi was just ok tasting. Soup had a mild beef flavor and had taste of sugar and MSG.

I came for the drinks but stayed for the ramen. Must try ramen in Stavanger. During the corona times its obligatory to order a main dish (not side dish) to have a drink along with it. The drinks were okay, most of them are quite sour though. Little cocktail selection. But the ramen is the true king. The char siu perfectly melts in your mouth, the broth is perfectly seasoned with alot of spring onion as well. The owners of the place are very nice, and are flexible with closing time.

Great food , worth visiting I had passed the corner where Noodle Noodle is located several time and have always had the feeling there some good stuff there. After one year living Stavanger went there twice this week and I am not disappointed. Really good, tasteful food and high quality noodles, the best I've tasted. Went for the sharing menu this weekend and wish there was some noodle there, it should be. Nonetheless, great food and highly recommend it! Nice staff and fair price.
