🌟 Mumbai Tadka: A Vegetarian Delight in Muscat! 🌟
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mumbai Tadka, and it was an absolute gem! As a vegetarian, finding a restaurant that caters to my taste buds can be challenging, but Mumbai Tadka exceeded all expectations.
Warm Ambiance: The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and cozy atmosphere. The traditional South Indian ornamental accents and beautiful murals on the walls added to the inviting ambiance.
Mouthwatering Starters: Samosa Pao: The deep-fried potato dumpling placed inside a bread bun with spicy green chutney and red dry garlic chutney was a flavor explosion. Vada Pao: Another winner! The fiery green chili fried alongside the vada pao made it an absolute delight.
Maharashtrian Thali: For the main course, we tried their Maharashtrian thali. It came loaded with mini vegetarian dishes, rice, roti, and a delightful gulab jamun for dessert. The veg kofta curry was a standout.
Stuffed Kulchas: Mumbai Tadka is known for its stuffed kulchas. We tried both the paneer and aloo versions, and they were soft, flavorful, and utterly satisfying.
Puran Poli and Ukadiche Modak: We ended our meal with these traditional Marathi delights. Puran Poli, a flatbread stuffed with sweet lentil filling, was a treat.
👍 Rating: 5 out of 5 stars!

On Ganesh Chaturthi we ordered from Mumbai Tadka which serves pure vegetarian. They are located in Al Khuwair just behind the Red Tag building and can be contacted on 9553 8399. Their facebook page is very updated.
We tried their traditional Marathi food or if i may say अस्सल मराठी तडका .
From their snacks we tried the samosa pao and the vada pao which is a deep fried potato dumpling placed inside a bread bun with lots of spicy green chutney, red dry garlic chutney and additionally a fiery green chilly fried. An absolute 5 outta 5 for me. For the main course we tried their maharastrian thali which came loaded with mini vegetarian dishes, rice, roti and a gulab jamun for dessert. Their veg kofta curry was really good. They are also known for their stuffed kulchas and we tried the paneer and aloo kulcha. Ended our meal with their specialities the Puran Poli and Ukadiche Modak. Puran Poli is a flatbread stuffed with a sweet lentil stuffing. In Marathi language the sweet stuffing is called as Puran and the bread is called as Poli.
You should have a look at their extensive menu, if you miss your Mumbai vegetarian delicacies.
