My all time favorite best pakistani street food joined Al Haikal next to Ruwi Bus Depot opp Ruwi Badr Al Sama. Must try is the Chaplin Kebab usually made from ground beed, mutton or chicken with various spices in the shape of a patty. Chapli Kabab originally comes from the northern areas, in particular Peshawar, capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The main ingredients include wheat flour, various herbs and spices such as chili powder, coriander leaves, followed by smaller quantities of onions, tomatoes, eggs, ginger, coriander or cumin seeds, green chillies, corn starch, salt and pepper, baking powder and citric juice, like that of lime or lemon must try with Kushk paratha. Al haikal is a gem of restaurant in Al Ghubra. Their Mutton kadhai and mughal dishes including Tikka is awesome. They have plenty of seating including separate family seating.. Neat and clean space and very lively at the night time. We visited the restaurant few times for dinner and very never disappointed with the freshly prepared food including the falooda and tandoori rotii and tandoori naan. On a travelers budget. You cannot get better than this restaurant. Located just around the corner from the Ramada Encore, this place is a great find if you don't wish to pay hotel rates for great Indian food. The offered foods are each and everý one delicious.
