So I haven’t been here in while but last time I came here they messed up everyone’s order gave me the wrong alcoholic drink several times and acted like it was my fault some how.
This time was a bit different. They wouldn’t seat us at first because they said we were within 25 ft of the bar and Utah’s law say you can be within 15 ft if a bar not 25 ft. So they don’t even know Utah’s laws which is concerning. There is only one small area to seat kids which is super inconvenient considering they have an entire restaurant to seat people anywhere but they chose to pick one very small area which was ridiculous.
The menu has been downsized significantly for whatever reason and the food portions are a lot smaller than they used to be so you’re paying the same price for less which is messed up in my opinion it’s a complete rip off. We order our food and yet again get the wrong food. I asked the server if substituting white rice for fried rice was better to do or to just order a thing of fried rice and then get the white rice that comes with it. She said it was cheaper to substitute which wasn’t true at all it’s $4 per meal I was thinking maybe $2 but nope $4 so I could have bought two things of fried rice and still got the white rice for cheaper. I ordered one alcoholic drink that came like right before I got the check so I had completely forgotten about it so at that point I didn’t even want it but was charged for it. The shrimp with lobster sauce is so disgusting like After the first bite I wanted to throw up and it wasn’t even lobster sauce on top. I literally asked what that dish was and the waiter said it was shrimp with lobster sauce and I asked her if she knew what lobster sauce was and what it looked like and she said she didn’t know so clearly yiu can’t tell me it’s what I ordered if you don’t even know ? The rest of the food seemed a bite over salted but there was a few ok dishes.
Lastly the music was so loud you couldn’t hear yourself think let alone hear anyone else and then the music was like techno or EDM like why would you play that kind of music in what you’d think would be a more fine dining experience why not play traditional Asian string music ? Was very odd.
Overall I can’t believe I spend all that money for once again a very unpleasant experience. Highly disappointed in the place definitely not what it used to be but they still charge you and arm and...
Read moreIf I could give less than 1 star I would. Don't eat here. No apology, just excuses. And a "manager" that only wanted to talk over me and not listen to my concerns.
This was a poor experience, cold food, poor execution and nobody cared to listen to my frustrations.
Here are the details: ordered online thru the app for delivery. Order placed at 6:14PM for 63 minute delivery at 7:17PM. Food was delivered at 7:42PM and it was ice cold. But here is the concern: the label for the appetizer said it was prepared at 6:22PM and sat until delivery pick-up until 7:33PM. Another entree label 6:49PM and the food sat until 7:33PM. The last entree label at 6:54PM and sat until 7:33PM.
The "manager" I called and asked for said I had to talk to the carry-out folks. That "manager" said that Door-Dash was at fault that the food sat from pick-up time of 7:17PM "when the food was ready" to 7:33PM. I asked if the label stated app was prepared at 6:22PM and sat until 7:33PM I was upset. She stated that it was not their fault, Door-dash should be contacted. She did not want to listed to my concern that the food sat and got cold long before pick-up was to happen for delivery. All she wanted to do was talk over my and my complaints. She never apologized for food sitting for over 1 hour before handed over to the delivery driver. She said she would contact Door-Dash and ask them for a refund, then the phone went silent for several moments, then call disconnected and she never offered an apology.
Very poor execution on the restaurant's part, even worse customer service from the 2 people I spoke with. Check out the photos below: dynamite shrimp wraps prepared at 6:22pm and delivered at 7:42pm. Ice cold and soggy.
** Update: PF Chang's only offered gift certificates totaling only $20 towards this almost $50 order and terrible customer service and cold, soggy, old food quality. They asked me to return and give them another chance with my $20 of gift certificates. That's not worth wasting...
Read moreHere’s a refined version of your review that keeps the strong points while making it more polished and impactful:
We chose P.F. Chang’s to celebrate Valentine’s Day, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a terrible experience that completely ruined our night.
Our waiter was polite but overwhelmed due to the Valentine’s Day rush, so service wasn’t as attentive as we expected. We ordered the Chef’s Feast for Two, which included egg drop soup, crispy honey shrimp, a salad, Mongolian beef, lettuce wraps, and California rolls to share.
From the start, the experience was disappointing. We had to ask for silverware, and when it arrived, my fork was dirty with visible food remnants. The egg drop soup lacked the traditional flavor, while the salad was dry, requiring us to request extra dressing. The California rolls were decent, but when my “crispy” honey shrimp arrived, the batter was soggy as if it had been sitting too long. The Mongolian beef was good, but then things took a turn for the worse—our lettuce wraps arrived after our entrées, and when I went to make one, I found a bug on the lettuce.
The manager replaced the lettuce wraps and offered a different shrimp dish, but by that point, we had lost our appetite and decided to take our food to go. To top it off, when we asked about a military discount, our server initially confirmed they offered one, yet when the bill came, we were charged full price. After bringing it up, the manager only offered a $5 discount. Given everything that had gone wrong, I expressed my frustration and requested more appropriate compensation, but all they did was remove the California rolls from the bill—far from adequate for the poor experience we endured.
This visit was one issue after another, and the manager showed little concern for customer satisfaction. As a result, we won’t be returning to P.F. Chang’s and will be taking our...
