I love Cafe Zupas at Station n I have never had an issue at this location until tonight Aug 17th, 24.. I ordered through the app at 8:40 PM, set the time of pickup at 9:15 PM since today was a stormy, cooler day knowing that it would be busy.. We got there at 9:20 PM n after my daughter waited for our pickup for a couple mins, she comes out to the car n tells me it would be about 5 more mins.. After that I go in, the manager tells me that they are just getting to my order to give him a couple more mins so I go back out to the car n cont to wait.. I go back in n the poor manager is running around with his head cut off, tells me he just has to get my strawberries "ordered 4 extras on the app".. He brings them out n the girl he has getting my order done is now taking her sweet time getting it together when meanwhile the manager n the rest of the employees are busting their tails doing the walk-ins orders.. I was getting so frustrated for the fact she is moving as slow as she could instead of just getting the orders packaged n in the bag.. I ended up leaving their at 9:47 PM with my 2 combo's n 4 extra strawberries.. I get the whole mad rush, cold weather, etc BUT why am I ordering on the app, putting the time out by 30 mins for me to pick it up to turn n be charged almost $6 dollar tip for when I had to wait an extra 30 mins to get my order on pretty much a small order that they hadn't even started till after I got there?! I feel complete bad for the manager for who was running around with his head cut off BUT I sure as hell think I should be giving back some sort of a little credit back for pretty it taking an hr to get 2 soups in a container n 2 simple n I mean simple sandwiches ready to go.. They whole purpose of the app is to eliminate the long wait time PLUS why have an option to when you will be there to pickup when it's 30 mins later that your order is in your hands?! I get 5-10 mins later BUT not 30 mins.. Having Lupas, there are times I can't simply just go in, stand in line to order or such or even go in n sit so when ordering through an app became a thing; it had helped soo much BUT tonight, I could have gone in.. Waited in line.. Paid.. THEN walked out within total 10 mins top.. Soo no.. Almost $6 tip automatically from the app?! Not from the service I got.. Totally unacceptable.. The "only" person I feel bad for is that night manager.. BUT I deserve some kind of...
Read moreI want to start off by saying I absolutely love the food; however, the customer service I just received is the absolute worst I've received in a long time.
I came in today and order well over $50.00 in food for myself and a couple co-workers. When I received my food and drove back to work I discovered that the dressing to my salad had been missing. Now that's not even the issue, its how Zupa's handled that situation.
When I called the first thing I got was a, "I don;t know what to do about I?"... How about make it right?! The only solution they could offer was to come back and get a dressing or they can get me free salad if I come back in. When I asked to just refund the salad they agreed but had a hard time finding my bill. Another manager called me and she said they refunded is but made sure to mention for future reference they don't and will not refund money... even if the order is wrong.
I was going to leave it at that until someone else went to go eat and they gave them completely the wrong soup. When I called back, the same manager who called me, answered and said that we could again come back into Zupas and get another soup, or get another one later. She made sure to emphasize that she will not refund any money this time around.
When I asked if they could deliver a new soup, we're not even 5 minutes away, she said she'll only do that for orders over $100.00. I asked, "Even in situations where multiple items on the order are wrong?" All she said was, "yup". I then said that that was unacceptable and she proceeded to hang up on me. She could careless about the poor experience we just received.
They had absolutely no empathy or consideration for us even in a situation where multiple items in the order were incorrect. What bothers me is her lack of consideration or thought into my customer experience. Very...
Read moreLet me start out by saying no wonder Gordon Hayward got such bad food poisioning from here and had to miss an NBA FINALS GAME!!! Just ate at zupas in Farmington for the 100th time and haven't been this worked up about something in a long time. My husband has always hated zupas so getting him there isn't an easy task to begin with. 1st off the service was MISERABLE. First girl asks if I'm dining in or dining out. We respond with "out" so she starts making my salad in a bowl to stay and multiple times I tried to let her know we were staying and she just kept ignoring us. So I waited for the next person and let them know and their solution was the grab a to go container, flip the salad upside down into the container while spilling half of the contents onto the counter. Then her soliton was to pour double the amount of dressing on top (after I asked for the dressing on the side) to cover it up. Then they took 15 minutes to ring up our food and we had to stand there with 3 of the RUDEST girls I've ever had to deal with who literally rolled their eyes at us twice when we weren't doing anything but waiting without saying a word. The girls threw our remaing food into the bags and we left. When we get home I ate 1/2 my salad and it was one of the worst salads I'd ever had and it didn't have a single piece of chicken on it. You're telling me I paid 8 dollars for a handful of lettuce and a load of BBQ sauce? Then my husband pulls his sandwich out and it's literally dripping. The bread was completely soaked and soggy. The last 5-10 experiences I've had here have not been present and the food goes down hill while you charge more and serve less. So bothered that I've come here to right a ridiculously long review when I have never EVER written a review about anything. Get it together Zupas. Guess my husbands...
