Extremely Disappointed – A Warning for Fellow Diners!

I usually don’t write reviews, but after two consistently terrible experiences at Steak Away SteakAway , I felt it was important to share and warn others.

My first visit was to their Gulberg branch, and the service was nothing short of pathetic. We had to wait over an hour for our food, and even after that long wait, only 3 out of 5 dishes arrived and they were cold and undercooked, especially the beef steak, which was practically raw. We waited another 30 minutes, but the remaining orders never came. In the end, we had to cancel the missing items, yet shockingly, they still included those canceled dishes in the final bill!

Thinking maybe it was a one-time issue, I decided to give Steak Away another chance at their new Pine Avenue branch this time with my family. Unfortunately, it was déjà vu. Once again, only part of the order was served, and again, the beef steak and stuffed chicken were both undercooked. When I refused to pay for the incomplete and poorly cooked dishes, one of their staff members named (Rehman) behaved in a shockingly rude and unprofessional manner even misbehaving with my mother. His behavior was completely unacceptable and offensive.

Dining out is not just about food it’s about the overall experience, and sadly, this place showed zero regard for their customers.

To be fair, I have also visited their Johar Town branch, and while not perfect, the service there was much better compared to the Gulberg and Pine Avenue branches.

My honest advice:

Avoid the Gulberg and Pine Avenue branches if you value your time, money, and dining experience. Poor service, undercooked food, unprofessional staff, and absolutely no regard for customer satisfaction. Don’t make the same mistake I did choose restaurants that actually care about their customers I have attached both bills and undercooked...

Price Range: Budget-friendly (₨600–₨1,500 per steak meal). Service: Primarily takeaway/delivery, with limited seating. Hours: Typically open until late (e.g., 1 AM).

WORST EVER FOOD IN MY LAST 10 YEARS OF FOOD DIARY🚨🚨⚠️⚠️ I'm a born Lahori (Reason mentioned below why I said this) and for the past 10 years I have eaten my fair share of amazing premium mouth watering taste buds exploding delicious food especially beef burgers, beef karahi and steaks.. Wallahi Wallahi I have never had a meal that would make me miserable as long as it was in my stomach. I ordered their rib eye beef Steak(Medium Rare). Guys I wish I could find the words to describe the anger & disgust I felt while eating the steak. The meat had a lot of muscle in it.. a lot of muscle.. chewing it was a struggle.. reason why I said Im a lahori is because u might think Im from the posh areas of Lahore (No offense to posh area lahoris.. I love you all..if I ever got enough money to buy a house I'll buy myself a house in either Bahria Town, Muslim Town or in DHA Phase 1.. The reason why I said Im a lahori is to tell you I came from lower class to upper middle class & I have experienced different cuisines and a lahori can recognise a good food and taste instantly.. Their steak had no taste in the meat. The topping of the steak (as shown in the pics) was really really bad.. It was the topping that ruined the taste even more and I didnt know they were gonna serve it like that. The sauces that came with the steak could make you vomit.. Their beef burger was below average.. I ate it to change the taste of my mouth but it didnt help much.. Overall If u ask me I resented the meal.. Wallahi this is an honest review. No personal grudge against them.. Last but not least the fries were good.. Now I understand why the prices were so low. My stomach is abusing and cursing me right...
