Positives: the mushroom soup was delicious, two nameless desserts were good (lemon meringue not available) the lemon iced tea was great but served in a too small glass. THAT'S IT

Negatives: 1.most of the menu was not available especially the salads 2.the grilled cumin chicken was 90% salt, actually inedible, 3.grilled sandwiches were served with absolutely no garnish, just two sad and flattened sandwiches in a plate 4.service was not satisfactory at all 5. the A.C. seemed to be non functional, requests didn't seem to work 6. when asked for extra plates or spoons they were not given right away, my guests actually had to plead with the waiter 7. the spoons were not matching 8. we were told the menu items were finished because we were very late ... we arrived at exactly 8.55pm. Is this too late for a Saturday night in Lahore?

I was referred to The Pantry by my children and I decided to take friends there for dinner. It was the most excruciatingly embarrassing experience of my life. You may well wonder why we didn't walk to another place...we didn't because it was too much for two of my guests to walk down the steps again and go looking for a table at Espresso or The Deli or ... At one point when we asked the waiter if he wanted us to leave he just shrugged his shoulders. We asked to talk to the manager but apparently Saturday nights are not prime time for The Pantry. There was only one salad available which the waiter insisted I order, Chicken Mango Salad. Obviously it must have been the worst option because no one else had ordered it so far .

The problem seems to be thoughtless and unplanned and GREEDY expansion. I've experienced different standards at various restaurants based on their location e.g. Rinas Kitchenette DHA Bad Gulberg Good

One good chef earns the reputation for the restaurant so the owners rub their hands in greed and decide to expand with probably the kitchen helper asked to cook in the new restaurant. The results are there to see or eat.

Expansion is the name of the game, whoever has done it has compromised on quality. But so what? The sheep continue to give them money because these places are IN. Schools have done it, and universities as well as bakeries and shoe shops and stores like Al Fatah. They all have untrained and ill trained staff and couldn't care less. SHAME...

We ordered salad classic beef burger herb tossed fries roast beef sandwich pesto fettuccine with grilled chicken caramel lemonade.

Ok now. Let me start raving about all that I love about pantry. E. V. E. R. Y. T. H. I. N. G. I give this place 10 stars. It’s my favorite go to place every time I visit lahore and it NEVER disappoints.

I didnot order the salad myself. It looked pretty dry and weird. But it tastes great. I was impressed with it. I can’t tell you how good the beef burger was. My mouth waters just thinking about it. It’s juicy. It’s crispy. It’s gooey. It’s tasty. It’s everything. Beef done to perfection, veggies feeling just the perfect texture, fresh bun. It’s absolutely amazing. Very very filling. If you are a beef lover, you will not regret having it. Herb fries are yet another good experience. Different from the rest. Roast beef can never go wrong. Safest option. Pasta. Mildly flavoured. Cooked to perfection. Kids loved it. Caramel lemonade... yum yum yum. This drink beats any and every other kind of lemonade I had before. This is a mustttt try. This is yet another perfection of pantry!!! You place the order on the counter and pay yourself. But they serve you on the table. Very courteous staff. Always available nearby the table to call and ask for any services. Very fast serving time. All...

The restaurant is a great choice for dining out. During our visit, we ordered a variety of items including a beef brisket sandwich, herbed cheese pizza, dry-aged cheddar sandwich, and a crispy burger. Among these, the dry-aged cheddar sandwich stood out as particularly delicious, with its rich flavor and perfectly balanced ingredients. It was so good that I'm already looking forward to returning just to have it again. The herbed cheese pizza also did not disappoint, offering a delightful combination of fresh herbs and melted cheese that made each bite enjoyable.

However, the beef brisket sandwich fell a bit short of our expectations. While it wasn't bad, it lacked the depth of flavor we were hoping for. Despite this minor letdown, the overall dining experience was very positive.

The atmosphere of the place is perfect for a casual outing with friends. It's a great spot to sit back, relax, and have a good chat over some tasty food. The service was another highlight, with the staff being incredibly humble and attentive. They listened to any concerns we had and addressed them promptly, enhancing our overall experience.
