The cheese empanadas are excellent, exactly as I expected being a fan of their origins in the Capira district. Little cozy artisanal bakery with small seating area to give it the feel of a cafe.
I came here simply because I'm a fan of their original Quesos Chela bakery in the Capira district. You cannot compare both places, though. The Capira branch has a no-frills walk-up environment while this place is an artisanal bakery with air conditioning. As expected, I ordered a cheese empanada to compare and I would say that it tastes better than their Capira location. The cheese has a more pronounced taste.

BUT THE SERVICE REALLY SUCKS HERE.
Or maybe it is because i am a black female that is not from here... who knows. We have been coming here a few times now... sitting outside no one comes ro serve us. Now this morning (my last visit here) as usual we are here waiting 20 minutos for someone to attend to us. I went inside and tols the Cashier that we are siting outside to order breakfast... wait wait wait... no one. Finally i went in took two juices from the fridge for them to see... 5 minutos after someone came. While we were waiting for the bill 3 Panamánians came... IMMEDIATELY someone came to them... in less than 2 minutos they were served and the waitress still wouldn't tend to us if i didn't shout out to her as she was heading back inside UNBELIEVABLE

Sentados afuera, nadie viene a servirnos.
