A superb establishment offering great quality food and attentive service in a beautiful space. I happened to be staying close to Pakuri was fortunate to dine here and it set a high bar for my stay in Asunción.
The establishment is very chic with beautiful decor and a nice flow between outdoor and indoor with the lush landscaping around the restaurant providing a cozy but sophisticated appeal.
From the starters all the way through the desert, every bite was delectable and the quality was noticeable. Paraguayan beef is stellar and Pakuri’s steak does great justice.
The starters are all sure to please but, surprisingly, the thing that stood out the most for me was my melon pavlova. Despite being stuffed with more red meat from a meal that I usually consume in a week, I couldn’t help but devouring the delicious desert, which can only be described as delightfully decadent.
Absolutely worth a visit and sure not...
Read moreI had to come because I heard this is one of the best restaurants in Asuncion if not Paraguay. Arrived a little earlier than expected the restaurant was still preparing and I waited outside a while before was showed to a table. I didn't really know what to order though the ceviche caught my attention and the staff recommended me to order the beef. I did listen to the recommendation and I ordered and I have to say the meal was really very enjoyable. The food was really good and delicious and I was over greedy as the portion of the ceviche and the beef was quite big. It was a very full dinner. Also ordered a drink but I couldn't finish it as I thought the alcohol level was a little too strong for a cocktail. Nevertheless it was good. Totally had no space for dessert though I wanted to. Definitely a highly recommended place to visit in Asuncion. Also wanted to mention that the staff were friendly...
Read moreDined with the family. I ordered the House Cheesburger, my sister a bowl of noodles, my mother a Risotto and my Stepdad a Steak Eye. It took over an hour. My Cheesburger was phenomenal, amazing. Bread is made in the house, the meat was amazingly cooked and it was filled to the top with it’s extra ingredients. Sadly, only me and my sister enjoyed our food. My stepfather had to give back his plate because it was overcooked and my mom ended up eating part of my Hamburger because the Risotto wasn’t as good and didn’t fill her up. I’d recommend the Cheesburger, but I would just choose just somewhere else to eat if it’s to eat a Hamburger, and even more one that is not...
