Came here so many times during my monthlong stay in Huaraz. I've gotten a few items: make your own, vegetarian and switched out olives for pepperoni once, chorizo another time, and gourmeth. I didn't like the chorizo, and gourmeth didn't have any sauce, was dry and the spread of ingredients on it was extremely inconsistent. Vegetarian with pepperoni, no olives, was probably my favorite, got that one a few times. I also like the garlic sauce and spicy sauce they provide! Pricing is decent, small is around 20-25 soles depending on what you get, and medium is about 7 soles more than the small. Good portions, crust is pretty good. Pictures-wise, it looked the best in all of Huaraz (I didn't try any other pizza place in Huaraz so I can't exactly confirm). Service speed depends on how many people are in the place before you, because it seems like they make...

We came here twice, first time as a couple and we had a really great experience - great pizza, fast service and good athmosphere.

The second time we came with our friends and the service was horrible. There were not a lot of guests, but it took 45mins to just clean our table, about 1.5h until we had our food and once we finished eating we finally got our drinks - almost 2h later. They almost had no beers and desserts anymore. Don't order the Tiramisu, it's not good! But the pizza is, and they have big portions.

It could be so much better if you had one or two more waiters. Instead there are 5 people in the kitchen, one guy preparing the drinks (which takes him two hours) and a woman at the counter - not sure what she was doing. The only waiter was obviously new and had to do the cleaning, orders, serving, dishes,...

Good! I am from Napoli and it is not like the napolitan Pizza (forget it, there is no comparison), but i can recommend the place. The dough is very good so as the ingredientes. My advice is the Gourmet and the Melenzane taste. The burrata on thr Gourmet is not a real one (also forget it 😂) but it is Peru and not Italy, so what you get is all right. Nothing to say on the Melenzane one because i could hace eaten anothe one. I tasted from a friend the one with Pistacchio and it is a waste of money. I have seen the vegetarian one with avocado and it looked okay, but avocado on pizza is a bit out of context fdom my point of view.

The service is nice but so slow. You should push them a little bit if you dont want to spend 3 hours waiting.

Beers are good and the...

If you like soft-dough wood-fired oven pizza, CHARLIES PIZZA hits the spot almost every time. I am unashamed to say we went here 4 times out of the week we stayed in Huaraz. It’s definitely not the cheapest option in Huaraz, but every time I was descending from my hike I was thinking about which pizza I wanted to order. Huancaina was great. Carnivora was great. Gourmeth was great. Special Hawaiian was great. Service can be a little slow and the inside a little smoky, so just eat quickly outside before it gets cold! At no tax and tip (can pay with card), its a pretty reasonable price for a filling fresh pizza dinner. Didn’t try anything else on the menu but probiotic drinks were OK. English menu available.

Given the reviews here and the way the place is decorated (which are great), and given the high prices relative to other restaurants nearby, we were disappointed. This is by no means an "Italian pizza" in any western standards. The pizza was ungracefully topped with tons of pepperoni so that you couldn't see the cheese. The cheese didn't properly melt and you could identify the cubes as it is bought. The whole thing had some weird flavor of anis. Inside the joint is just too hot, probably due to the oven, but still the dough wasn't as you would expect. The waiter just took the money without returning the change, as if deciding for us that we tip him.

Great vegetarian woodfire pizza! Lots of great toppings, including avocado (palta), which tasted great on the pizza! Decent prices. Also, lots of great extras to put on your za, including salt, pepper, hot sauce, oil, oregano, and maybe another, I added them all and it was great. The atmosphere was also great, they lit a candle at our table. It also looked like they had good coffee in a French press (didn’t try though). Highly recommend this place in Huaraz!
