Bijou Bar - Miraflores — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Bijou Bar completely blew me away. We came in with a group of 11 people and the space accommodate us nicely. It was a vibey and cozy setting. We ordered The Last Word cocktail, and it was hands-down one of the best versions I’ve ever had—perfectly balanced, with just the right touch of sharpness and herbaceous depth. You can really tell the bartenders here are passionate about their craft.

But what truly set this place apart was the staff. Christopher gets a special shout out because not only was he incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, they went above and beyond by giving me amazing recommendations for restaurants and bars in Tarapoto, where we were heading next. That level of hospitality is rare and so appreciated.

Everything about this bar is magical. From the time you walk in and see the decor to when the drinks at your table you will be impressed. The owner is very knowledgable and well traveled, and the bartenders know exactly what they are doing and talking about when they are offering cocktails. The fig Negroni is outstanding so do yourself a favour and start with that before anything else. A very cool and intimate bar. The food and drinks were well prepared and innovative. The bartenders and wait staff were so kind. The popcorn chicken was very good. We went on a Saturday night around 9:30 pm and were able to grab a seat at the bar; I might try to go earlier to assure you can get a seat (and I imagine it will only get more popular with time)....
