LA BISTECCA Pasta- Grill — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

The food was amazing. They dealt with our huge group of people flawlessly (even with many of us not speaking any Spanish!). Not only was the food great, but the environment and the atmosphere was very relaxing and beautiful. I absolutely loved it--as did the rest of the 40 person group who attended!

I also had forgotten my purse that night (it turned out to be in a friend's car), and the staff there were SO wonderful in trying to help me find it! They checked under every table, in every corner, and they were convinced that it had not left with another customer or waiter because of how well they monitor things. And they were absolutely right! I could not have asked for a better group of people to help me find my purse tonight! They were all so patient and kind with me, even though I had been the one who had forgotten it! I cannot say enough good things about this...

We came her one evening for diner. The place was busy. Before talking about the food I suggest you consider dressing a bit up. Many families come there to celebrate life achievement and they tend to be very elegant. If you don’t want to feel out of the place consider having a colar shirt. The place has good food. It is great if you want to try a variety of local things and some more international items. I totally enjoyed the meat empanadas, the mushrooms ceviche and the costillar pork cut. A bit on the disappointing side was the desert section. The chocolate fountain was screaming for strawberries and I find the variety as being basic for a buffet. Hard not to Compare it to the golden coral.

The food was amazing and freshly made. They have fresh pasta, which they cook right in front of you. Grilled meats are excellently seasoned and cooked to your liking. Vegetarian dishes are plenty full and delicious (I'm not vegetarian, but I had several of their plates) They really go out of their way to make sure everything is to your liking. Make sure you come around your birthday for a special treat and gift. The only fault I could think of was that the bathroom is downstairs away from the dinner hall, and parking may be difficult to find. Absolutely recommend...
