A Culinary Marvel in Lima – A Must-Visit for Every Food Enthusiast!

From the moment I stepped into this quaint bakery and restaurant in the bustling city of Lima, I knew I had stumbled upon something special. The ambiance was inviting, with a touch of nostalgic charm that instantly captivated me.

But the real magic began when I tasted the food. The sandwiches were a truly heavenly experience – so extraordinary, they undoubtedly rank among the top 3 sandwiches of my life. And that's saying something, because I can't even recall the first two! Each bite was a perfect harmony of fresh, high-quality ingredients, masterfully combined to delight the palate.

Then there was the tortilla – as a proud Spaniard, I hold a high standard, and I must admit, only my mother and grandmother could surpass it. But what I found in this humble establishment in Lima came very close. It was an homage to traditional Spanish cuisine, prepared with a precision and love that is rare to find.

I came in for breakfast around 7:30 because I wanted to avoid any sort of busyness or rush. It was definitely calm and I was attended to right away. I have to say the attention of the staff is exemplary. They gave me just enough space to study the menu and put my order in & after ordering, I had my coffee in 5, and food within 10 minutes. The coffee is really smooth and perfectly prepared - origin Cajamarca 👌🏼. The French toast is incredible and they had a “Tres leches” option which I highly recommend. It’s not too sweet. The fruit was fresh and presentation was impeccable. The triple lc sandwich was exactly what I wanted and perfectly seasoned - high-quality ingredients all around. Food was good and their cocktails were actually very enjoyable, we didn’t appreciate the amount of time we had to wait between our waitress to come check on us though and then when we asked for the check she took forever to bring it, I had to remind her and then she was talking her peers…

The atmosphere is good to spend time with your friends if you are inside of coffee shop, if you are outside, check on your purses and make sure you don’t leave them too close to the street as pickpockets can come grab them any time.

Circling back to the food, I did enjoy what I got the desserts were really really good too!
