La Vista Restaurant — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Really disappointed. The service was horrendous, they should definitely work on that. In general, it is a nice place, but the quality of the food does not justify the prices, nor does the atmosphere. There are a lot of other places in Lima which offer both at a higher standard with comparatively speaking better prices. In my opinion, it is a scam. There was only one waiter responsible for nearly all the clients, which ended up with him catering to us in a very bad manner, even allocating a considerable chunk of money to himself without asking. I ordered a dish from the kid's menu and had to pay twice the price without anybody informing me beforehand. La Vista in the JW Marriott at La Plaza de Salazar. I might call this a VERY good overpriced hotel restaurant (but also worth eating at). I showed up on a weekend and they tried to push me to the buffet which looked incredible and even included a chocolate fountain. But instead I ordered the Ensalada del Campo which had candied almonds (my new favorite), cubed Brie, and these marinated skinned apples that were amazing! The Pescado Costeros was also wonderful. It was served in a puréed Lima bean - shrimp bisque sauce. Sergio, my server, threw in a shrimp cocktail from the buffet that I didn’t partake in. Fui al restaurante para almorzar, preguntamos cuales son los platos a la carta y me dijeron que no hay, que solo hay buffet, entonces, optamos por el buffet. Cabe señalar que los viernes y sábados hay almuerzo buffet tradiciones, de 12:30 a 16:00, el precio por adulto es 165 soles y el precio por niño de 6 a 12 años es 69 soles, esto incluye pisco sour ilimitado.

Con respecto al buffet, en relación al precio - cantidad, calidad, me parece excesivo el precio, NO lo recomiendo, había poca variedad de comida, hay un límite de tiempo, el sabor era agradable pero no era algo extraordinario ni excelente, no cambian los cubiertos cada vez que terminas de comer, el pisco sour no ayuda a digerir bien la comida, por cierto, lo echan mucho alcohol y estaba bien frío, tuve que pedir una botella de agua adicional para digerir la comida.

Por otro lado, he ido a otros Buffet, en los cuales el precio es menor que en este restaurante, la variedad y calidad de la comida es superior a lo que tienen aquí, y te puedes quedar mucho más tiempo. Por ejemplo: La Bistecca Pasta Grill, en el centro comercial Real Plaza Salaverry, el buffet es de 12:00 a 22:00, hay una gran variedad de comida, nacionales como internacionales, el precio es 89.90 por adulto y la calidad es excelente y aquí si cambian los cubiertos cada vez que uno termina de comer.

Con respecto a los servicios higiénicos, es limpio, la figura para distinguir el baño de hombres y mujeres es muy chico, no se visualiza bien, así también, cuando uno ingresa no se ve el inodoro, uno tiene que abrir las puertas y no es fácil saber si está ocupado o no, para saberlo o bien intentas abrir la puerta, o tocas la puerta y preguntas si hay alguien allí, y el espacio es muy chico, me sentí claustrofóbica, lo único rescatable es que había gancho para colgar la cartera, bolsa, etc.
