Hotel Bayview — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

Ahead of our arrival, we specifically asked for AC and fans. Upon our arrival, the AC and the safe weren't working and we had to ask for fans which still didn't compeletely work. The staff claimed that the AC would be fixed the next day but two days passed and it never happened. We were finally switched to another room (after having asked for days since our arrival), only to find that night after touring all day that the second room had no hot water in the bathroom. The key also didn't work. After we complained about this to the front desk and asked to be changed to another room (third room), we never received any kind of apology or any offer of a refund or discount. On the contrary, Romulo, the manager, asked to speak to us on the phone where he reprimanded us for being "rude". ||All three of the rooms we stayed in during our ten day stay had filthy floors and carpets. There are "No smoking" signs but there were a couple of older guests who smoked and left ashtrays out in public spaces throughout all hours of the day, bringing in younger female "guests" late at night. My mother has stayed here several times over the past five years and has noticed a consistent decline in service. The location is very close to where our family loves so this would be perfect but we will never stay here again. Tut mir leid, aber die positiven Eindrücke der meisten Rezensenten kann ich leider nicht teilen.Die Lage des Hotels, in direkter Nähe zur Lacomar Shopping Mall ist meiner Ansicht nach der einzige positive Aspekt.Von Strandblick kann freilich keine Rede sein.Wie auch, die Zimmer haben ja(zum Teil) nicht mal Fenster. Beruflich unterwegs hat man an ein Hotel meist nur geringe Anforderungen: Es sollte sauber sein, es sollte ein gutes Bett zur Verfügung stehen, und es sollte ein gutes Frühstück angeboten werden. Wenn dann auch noch Warmes Wasser geboten wird ist eigentlich alles erfüllt was sich der Monteur so wünscht. Von vorgenannten Punkten findet man hier nur das gute Bett. Die viel gepriesene Sauberkeit:Am ersten Tag bin ich Gewohnheitsbedingt mit nackten Füßen im Zimmer umher gelaufen.Ich habe noch NIE erlebt, das nach zweimal über einen Teppich laufen meine Fußsohlen einen regelrechten schwarzen Belag aufwiesen den man mit dem Fingernagel abkratzen konnte!! Ab diesem Moment habe ich es tunlichst vermieden irgend etwas, ausser meiner Schuhsohlen, mit diesem Teppich in Berührung zu bringen.Das ist echt eklig!!! Die Fugen im Bad sind gerissen und Schimmeln. Die Amaturen, Brausekopf, Duschstange und Handtuchhalter rosten. Warmes Wasser dauert ohne Übertreibung etwa drei Minuten bis es warm wird.Das hat mit dem Wassersparen was hier sonst überall gefordert ist nichts zu tun, und nervt total.Abgesehen davon das man aufpassen muss, das das Waschbecken nicht überläuft weil der Abfluss nicht abläuft.Jetzt könnte man meinen ich hätte ein schlechtes Zimmer erwischt.Ich habe aber in den elf Tagen hier drei Zimmer erleben dürfen.Das zweite nur für ne Stunde, weil die Zimmerkarten basierte Stromabschaltung ständig abschaltete.Zimmer eins und drei nehmen sich nichts, und auch mein Kollege ist total begeistert. Auch davon das einige Zimmer keine Fenster haben und man dadurch überhaupt keine Chance zu lüften hat.Bei 86% Luftfeuchtigkeit ne Klasse Sache. Es gibt wohl ne Klimaanlage, aber ich trau mich aus hygienischen Gründen nicht diese anzumachen.Die Möbel sind zum Teil aufgequollen/abgeschlagen und die Türen hängen.Die Schränke verströmen einen beißenden Geruch, das man nichts rein legen möchte.Jemand schrieb mal nach Schimmel, aber ich denke das kommt aus den Spanplatten. Der Kühlschrank ist natürlich ein Pluspunkt.Er ist aber leider sehr laut.Im ersten Zimmer war er allerdings leiser.In den Wänden sind bei beiden Zimmern offen liegende Installationen... Nun ja...Wie gesagt, Monteure sind nicht verwöhnt, und so haben wir das alles auch tapfer für elf Tage mitgemacht. Aber was uns letztendlich dazu bewogen hat das Hotel für die restliche Zeit zu wechseln ist das Frühstück.Wir konnten es nicht mehr sehen!! Wenn man für ein oder zwei Nächte hier ist mag das noch alles ganz Ok sein.Nach elf Tagen reicht es dann aber doch.Es gibt eine Sorte Wurst.Und zwar immer die eine Sorte.Den Fotos nach seit etwa vier Jahren.Eine Sorte einer Art Frischkäse,zwei Sorten billiger Corn Flakes oder ähnlichem, eine schleimige Erdbeer Marmelade,abgepackten Honig, zwei Sorten Süßes Toast auf dem man Wurst und Käse nicht essen mag, mehlige Mini Brötchen, meist alte Blätterteig "Brötchen" und eklige schleimige, weil mit viel zu viel Öl gebratene Rühreier.Das war es im groben.Ach ne, Früchte mit Joghurt.Die sind ganz gut,können wir aber auch nicht mehr sehen.Da fehlt es absolut an Gastronomischer Hingabe.Wie kann man über Jahre hinweg ein und die selbe einzelne Sorte Wurst und Käse anbieten? Wenn es denn mehrere wären... Wie gesagt,für zwei Nächte bestimmt nett, aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt, und für die regulären knapp 80€ pro Nacht, nicht...
