Perroquet Restaurant (Country Club Lima Hotel) — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

I’m having at the restaurant right now… trying to have dinner. I’m staying at the hotel across the street “Los Delfines”. I decided to try another restaurant. After taking a look at the menu, I decided to have dinner here. . After I was seated at a nice table outdoors. I waited for a very long time for someone to take my order. That was a big sign that it was not going to be a good experience. I have to Google the phone number so that I can call the front desk. A gentleman showed up and I immediately asked him for help. He got someone to take my order. I ask for the squash soup and if they use heavy cream to make sure not to add it, to which the waiter answered that is no heavy cream in it. Either way, I want to make sure that he understood that I didn’t want any cream but that I was OK with the fresh cheese. I also ordered a Lomo saltado and an Apple martini. Next thing I know they brought me the soup no cheese included. I waited for the waiter to come and check on me for a while. I just couldn’t wait anymore so I just decided to eat it because I haven’t eaten in the past 14 hours. The soup itself was delicious. After I finish ( long time). The waiter decided to pay a visit ( two different waiters). I brought it to his attention that they forgot to put the cheese in it. I was kind of bummed since I haven’t eaten this soup for the past 20 years. I decided to cancel my apple martini order since they took forever. She went ahead and cancel it, and he asked me if I still wanted the main dish and I said yes, of course. The presentation of this dish was beautiful. However, the flavor was just ok. Next thing I know they brought me the apple martini 🙄. Ay ay ay! This experience was very disappointing. The waiters were very kind and respectful when they talk to you but they’re so disorganized. They don’t know what they’re doing one guy brings one thing the other one got the other thing all wrong. They are not in sync. You need a better...

Literally one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. The attention to customer service to the details of the room and the hotel in general is amazing. We originally hadn't planned to come back to this hotel after doing some of our tours and get sways but decided nothing else would suffice. We had a large group of people and they were very accommodating and held our luggage while we went away for a few days. The food in the hotel was amazing. The staff i can't say enough great things. Really they made you feel like you knew them for years.

Also tea time or whatever they called their evening dinner thing was amazing. Price included champagne and everything it was a great experience and they even put the soccer game on.

Super helpful and great service all around.

The one thing only thing I can say is the taxi and transportation services they help facilitate are very expensive. Use your own taxi or use Uber. I mean your getting charged 4x as much as an Uber. I mean i get everyone needs to make money but that's outrageous..

Again this place is amazing lots of artifacts and murals and art with descriptions underneath so if your like me you'll stroll around and read them all even in the rooms there are things. I would highly recommend...

Breakfast. We sat outside and had the breakfast buffet. It was fresh, clean and very good. The atmosphere outside was great with birds providing natures song. The service was very good.

Lunch. We sat inside. The atmosphere was private, quiet, upscale and very comfortable. The service was fantastic. The homemade bread was great. The APEROL SPRITZ was beautiful and refreshing. The BEEF CARPACCIO was delicious. The TUNA TRIO TRILOGY was divine. The CHICKEN CHICHARRONES were delightful. The CEVICHE was was exquisite. The BURGER was scrumptious.

Dinner. We sat outside. The live music was amazing. The LOMO SALTADO was fantastic. The BEEF GNOCCHI was outstanding. Service was very slow. Drinks took forever. Martinis got to the table warm. They were clearly understaffed and overwhelmed. But the servers were very kind and friendly.
