Picas — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

We (three) arrived at Picus little after ten o'clock got a table in the corner so we had enough room for three more friends to arrive later. There was one waiter ,the service was slow say 15 minutes or better to get the first drink. When we ordered drinks we also ordered a fried seafood dish . We finish the first drinks ready to order another still no seafood . We mentioned to the waiter ,he gave some excuse that the kitchen was busy . NO he forgot because another table next to us was seated after us and had drinks and food before we got to order our second drink. Problem understaffed for the outside patio ,the service was poor waiters need better training Also with the business profits purchase better outdoor seats the ones...

Hay bares que con el tiempo llegan a convertirse en clásicos, otros evolucionan y se adaptan a los nuevos tiempos reinventandose y convirtiéndose en nuevos referentes de la movida bohemia. Tristemente hay un tercer tipo de bar que con el desgano y la Mala administración solo se hunden en la mediocridad involucionando y convirtiéndose en la peor versión de sí mismos y este es el caso de Picas.

Un bar entregado al abandono en que parece que la única prerrogativa ha sido cobrar más y ofrecer menos. Ambiente descuidado, pantallas apagadas, mobiliario viejo, personal desatento, tragos hechos con el alcohol más barato posible a precios de tragos Premium.

Con una carta de cartón forrada en Vinifan que hace recordar a las chinganas alrededor de las Universidades, nada queda ya del Picas de antaño, de los famosos Catedrales que junto a los piqueos criollos hacían mágica la noche Barranquina.
