So I want to say that this place has an amazing concept and the location and tea pots are beautiful. The Tea was also delicious. Worth a visit just for that. Maybe I just went there on an off day but there were a couple of things that ruined my visit. First was the music, I was sat outside and unfortunately under a speaker. The music volume was fluctuating from nothing to ridiculously loud and towards the end it was just static. It was awful, especially when mostly you hope for a quiet place to have a chat and a cuppa. Second was the postres, they looked amazing but they lacked taste and were frozen solid. Finally was the service, it was clear that we didn’t have the greatest experience but our waitress just kind of hid. It was so weird. I get people don’t want to deal with grumpy customers but it wasn’t her fault so I was more upset about the fact that she acted as if we wern’t there. Anyway, maybe better next time? 🤷‍♂️

A good alternative to spend an afternoon in Lima. We opted for the Grand Royal Tea Option for S/72 and were not disappointed. The food was really delicious and you had many tea options to choose from. The service was great 👍 As we were sitting on the terrace, we couldn't really follow up with the conversation of everybody (we were 8 people) as the traffic is really loud. So if you come in a bigger group, consider sitting inside, which is also very beautifully decorated. Parking and a spot to put your bicycle is available as well.

I love a tea house, so to discover this gem on my last day in Lima was perfect. We went for brunch. The chicken and waffles was amazing. The chicken had soo much flavor without being salty. I then opted for a cup of coffee and some macarons (one of my favs) they were delicious. While drinking the coffee I noticed my initials were on the cup and asked if I could buy it. Turns out they don't sell individual cups, but they do sell tea sets. I purchased one, it was the perfect ending to a great trip to Peru.
