This restaurant seems to be popular for local people. But my experience is not good. I ordered Lomo Saltado, but I waited more than 20 minutes and when the meal is finally served, I found hair in the meal. (See picture). I pointed out the problem, the personnel simply took back the dishes without apologies and served again after a short while. My guess is they just took away the hair and served again. Anyway, a bad experience. A restaurant not live to its reputation.

By the time I came to this restaurant my sun burn felt much better. We got a very big tasty vege and pork soup, glass of the purple corn juice, main course (choice of about 6 option) and a bowl of jelly for dessert, all for only 15 soles per person!!! Excellent value, tastes really good and super authentic. Our waitress Ruth was really friendly and helpful explaining the Spanish menu

Great little restaurant with excellent value daily specials. Typically a soup, a blue plate main(meat, starch and veggies) plus a dessert. Most days have 2 choices of main. Regular menu is a little more expensive but still excellent value, rec the Lomo Saltado. Friendly owner. Tour groups have not discovered it, but the railway staff has. Lots of local business.

The food was pretty good and the price too. However the service from out waitress (a young girl) was terrible she didn’t really want to serve us and we were very polite with her. Everything we asked her about the food she seemed annoyed to answer us. She didn’t even ask if we wanted anything to drink, when we ask if they had Coca Cola she answered no or any natural juice. After she left we saw across the room the fridge with all the soft drink including Coca Cola. I got up to check my self and I told her can I get a Coca Cola and pointed to her the fridge. At the end we waited a while to get the check, We paid and left her a tip even if her service was not good, at that moment her attitude change but it was too late by them. I believe our meal included some type of dessert at the end but was never offered or...
