Firstly, I have eaten at restaurants all over the world, and am very easy to please. Never have I left a one-star review until now. I was really excited to try this restaurant and made a reservation a few days in advance using WhatsApp. I successfully confirmed my 7PM reservation and even received two separate responses, with zero mention of a 1.5hr seating.
As soon as we sat down and got comfortable, the manager came over and told us that there was another reservation for the same table at 8:30 PM, and that we had to leave by then. He was quite rude about it.
My husband and I were really upset. Nowhere on their Instagram or in the WhatsApp communication was it mentioned that there was a time limit for our table.
We had planned to enjoy appetizers and dessert, but instead, we just had a main and left.
Don’t waste your money here.
If I could make a suggestion—go to FORTY BISTRO (it’s right beside Biga). We went the night before and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, and the price for a really well-prepared beef tenderloin was actually cheaper than the pizza at Biga (beef tenderloin: 55 soles; Biga pizza: 58 soles). When we felt a bit chilly, the staff at Forty Bistro even lit a fire for us.
