Overall Experience: Tbacks has always been our go-to spot in AC. It’s got that neighborhood charm, and the staff are always lively and easygoing—I’ve never had a bad interaction here.

Well, I finally decided to try T-Backs. I was putting it off because I find them over priced considering their basic American menu. However, they have been putting on some specials every now and then so today, I decided to give it a try, being North American, and wanting to try their buffet while celebrating my more southern North American neighbours. The buffet was advertised to be on from 11am until 9pm. We arrived at 6:30 pm and guess what.... no more buffet! Now, I'm not sure, but I think 6:30 is still dinner time (supper time, for some) in the US, right? T-Backs is a very specific type of place in a city full of questionable romantic situations. However, it doesn't come off that way. The atmosphere is welcoming and distinctly American. They have an impressive IPTV selection if you want to watch sporting events.

I deducted one star due to the alcohol prices (it is a tourist town, and I'm a local) and because I didn't like the combo dipper plate. I won't go into detail, but it just didn't mesh well with my palate.

However, the food prices are very reasonable.

If you want to get drunk in a pretty safe place, with decent-looking women and American-quality service while watching a baseball game, this is the place. I'll be back to hopefully try something different to eat. I might even change my...
