EL VISTRA HOTEL — Hotel in Angeles

Very nice hotel, staff was very welcoming, and the food was great at their rooftop restaurant.

The rooms look great, but had only found 2 roaches in the room, 1 dead by window, other crawling from the bathroom shower drain. The room that we had was on the 8th floor as the executive suites, so not bad for the view and cost, just make sure you don't have roaches.

You get 2 free waters in the room, the ones in the mini-fridge you pay for. The WiFi is great, but the TV doesn't connect to the WiFi so you are stuck on antenna reception which is really bad.

Shower was great for those who like hot showers, handle shower head and a waterfall head. Toilets have the hand water jet attached and flushers on lid. The sink maybe different for all rooms, ours was configured wrong as the cold water output was some to nothing, and the hot had plenty. The drain had to manually be adjusted alot because it wouldn't drain properly. So, i closed it at night to prevent roaches in room.

It is close to bars or nightclubs if that is your scene, as well as SM Clark.

For parking, there are only 3 spaces, so if you have your own car... good luck unless you get it reserved for you.

The hotel is very modern looking. The rooftop view was great, it was clean and the food was prepared just as I asked. The bartender made my drink so perfect, I had three of them. It was quiet even though a family played in the pool next to me. The reception desk made it easy to check in, the food bar in the lobby looked like it had yummy pies and cakes. You cannot enter your room floor without access key, so that keeps out unwanted guest. The location is close to Don Juico, it took me 5 min to walk to the bus terminal. It is directly next to 7/11, very convenient. The WiFI is very strong.

Con: I liked my room, it is clean but the CR smelled bad the entire time, even if I flushed many times. I would be careful walking at night but I was not concerned about my safety. They made me give my guest name at the front desk before she could enter, I understand this my be for security but if I am with her, I would not have expected this.

During my recent stay at this hotel, I was thoroughly impressed by the warmth and helpfulness of the owner. The standout feature for me was the hotel's robust security measures, particularly for vehicle parking. Given the recent spike in car thefts, it was reassuring to know that parking access was strictly controlled by the front desk.

The room rates were quite reasonable, and I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the Wi-Fi - a boon for anyone needing to stay connected. On the downside, the hotel's food offerings were somewhat overpriced. However, this was easily remedied by the conveniently located 7/11 store right next to the hotel, offering a variety of budget-friendly alternatives.

In summary, my experience was highly positive, combining safety, comfort, and excellent customer service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a secure and accommodating...
