Horrible experience from abacus yesterday June 26, 2023 around 11:30am

We sat at the 2 big round tables, ordered food as usual. Our family regularly get 10% discount for being a a regular customer.

To our surprise, the birthday noodles has a COCKROACH in it.

The same noodles we ate and fed to our kids. We tried to be patient by calling the attention of your waiter and informed them of the issue in a very calm manner.

Your chinese cook, went out, did the protocol of saying sorry. Offered us to either cancel the order (with cockroach) or cook a new one but has to be paid. Chinese cook also said “dont worry we will give you discount”. But we just decided to just cancel the order.

This is disappointing coz they still asked us to pay for the replacement noodles. Its as if nothing bad happened. What an unacceptable display of apology. Very disrespecting to customers.

Lo and behold another issue happened, my steamed lapu lapu has a FLY (insect) in the sauce. Called the attention of the waitress. This time the waitress just said “ok po, wait po” then they never did anything abt it nor did any manager nor chef approached me. No one approached me, no one bothered to at least apologize. Its as if finding an insect in the food is something that happens to Abacus regularly. Is this an acceted norm?

Hygeine and cleanliness shouldnt be a customer’s problem when you have a resto, that is a big priority.

Now its my 5th time pooping. Obviously because of the coackroqch mixed with our noodles.

To make matters wrose, ABACUS resto still billed us for the noodles, and whats funny is abacus also over billed us on alot of items.

Wanna hear something more aggrqvating, we regularly get 10% disc for being a regular cuatomer. After this incident, they only gave us 5%

They do not know their inventory. We changed our orders 3 times to adjust to the resto- even the Manager came to apologize on the 3rd time! If we were not hungry- we should have switched to other places. The food was served in 8 minutes- fast and delicious- though the food served was not what we initially ordered. We were looking for wanton noodle soup and braised beef- they are offering us chicken noodle instead! My companions agree that we can all cook the simplest chicken noodle. We were craving for authentic Chinese Noddle soup that day- not chicken flavor though. Then they did not have beef! Wow- no beef in a resto??????? Then change order again.. three...

An affordable Chinese restaurant inside a fairly popular hotel chain. The service is so-so but the food is quite better than the restaurants near it. The food is quite affordable as well. I recommend their mushroom fried rice and their calamares. There is also an option to cook the fishes in the aquarium at the time, the price of which is dependent on the season. One major demerit of the restaurant is the exorbitant use of plastics in their mineral water and the wrong orders that they do. But overall, I think they did a pretty good job at their...
