Ramen Kuroda is my fave budget Japanese resto.
Aka, shiro, or kuro ramen for just php 220. Plain rice is 50 (small serving but it is okay as it is Japanese rice). I love the edamame as well.
As the years passed, they added more variety to their line up.
I remember when this was newly opened, the bento set I ordered is supposed to come with a tea, but I was not given one. I vividly remember I was seated in front of the glass window where the noodles are made.
There is always a lot of customers, long waiting time. Be ready to line up and wait for your number.
This weekend of 8 in evening, wasted more than an hour to be seated and for orders to arrive.
Not pet friendly.
They just don't have good promos.
I like that they shout welcome irasshai mase!!! as any polite Japanese resto would.
Also the condiments at each table is a plus.

They took our order and after waiting for 30 mins, we noticed that the other tables got their orders already even though we came first. We did follow up our order but all staff barely noticed us. After a few more minutes, two female staff approached us and said âKunin po namin ulit order niyo. Pa prioritize nalang po namin.â I asked her why sheâs taking our order again and her reason is âNawala po kasi yung papel na sinulatan ko.â Is that even acceptable?
