Starbucks SM City Grand Central Caloocan — Restaurant in Caloocan

We will never support Starbucks again. The manager that worked here was heartless with no Christmas spirit whatsoever.

On 11/27, my daughter wanted to surprise her grandmother who she hasn’t seen in 12 years. My daughter has a Starbucks apron which our friends daughter from the United States gave to her to plan the surprise. It was a different color and not even identifiable as Starbucks except for the logo in front. The plan was for her to serve the coffee with the apron on as well as a COVID mask so she doesn’t get recognized. As soon as they were there and my daughter had the apron on, the manager said that Starbucks doesn’t do that kind of stuff and asked my daughter to take the apron off. That is very cold hearted for a business that serves warm coffee. Thanks for ruining the surprise. And it's not even ruining the surprise that bothers me, it's ruining good memories that could happen. People like these always love exerting their dominance....

No doubt that SB baristas are friendly and the place itself is neat. However, the important thing that I'm always looking for in a coffee shop is the quality of their drinks. I've ordered to this branch several times before I left this review. When I first tried their coffee, it tasted "meh." I thought it might be one off, but it's not. All the coffee I bought from them are consistently bland. Their branch should be renamed Starbucks Milk because all I can taste is milk!!

Lawson coffee and Zus coffee, which are cheaper than SB, can definitely beat the coffee strength of SB. This is a hard...

45 minutes in queue to order. The staff was helpful in asking for orders in advance by writing it in a piece of paper but you still have to wait to transact with the cashier. The ambiance is not giving, as this it is always very crowded especially on weekends. Serving time takes another 10-15 minutes. The baristas here are super nice though.
