Amazing Introduction to Filipino Cuisine! I visited this restaurant after hearing they serve delicious Filipino food — and it absolutely lived up to the hype! From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Right off the bat, I was served a basket of potato chips, which were surprisingly good! The accompanying sauce was uniquely flavorful — I couldn’t stop dipping. For the main dishes, I ordered Tortang Talong, Beef Kare-Kare, Sizzling Sisig, and Garlic Rice. Tortang Talong is like a Filipino-style omelet, stuffed with eggplant and ground meat. Dip it in ketchup and it’s simply delicious. Sizzling Sisig has a bold, distinctive flavor that’s addictively good. It’s not spicy at all, so it’s easy to enjoy even if you can’t handle heat. You’ll be asked if you want it with an egg — I highly recommend saying yes! The richness of the egg balances the intense flavor of the sisig perfectly. It pairs especially well with a cold beer. Garlic Rice is exactly what you'd expect — subtly garlicky and flavorful enough to eat on its own. Beef Kare-Kare features tender beef in a slightly sweet, peanut-based sauce. It might not be everyone’s favorite, but I personally enjoyed it — especially when paired with the side of fermented fish sauce. It added depth and a wonderful umami kick. Again, beer lovers — you’ll love this sauce! The portions were generous, and the beef was incredibly tender. I found out they also have a lechon (roast pork) version of Kare-Kare — I’m definitely trying that next time! If you're curious about Filipino food, this place is a great introduction. Highly recommended — give it a try!

Gerry’s Grill is one of my favorite Filipino restaurants to go to whenever I visit Philippines. I have been to their Manila and Cebu locations or maybe other locations too. This location however is somewhat smaller than their other locations, but it’s still decent to dine in, especially if they will always closed the back door, lol. It’s so hot whenever they leave it open. Okay when it comes to Food, they have big portions it’s really for sharing plates, it’s recommended for groups, family reunion, birthday celebrations and even for work events and meetings. Food is yummy, loved their milkfish or white fish, we called them “bangus” topped with salted egg salad with chopped tomatoes and onions, again it’s huge! I loved it, It’s a must for non pork or beef eater. We also ordered crispy pork belly kare-kare, I’m Not a fan, but loved the veggies so, I still recommend it! Then I added and ordered their calamari squid tempura and it’s quite tough or chewy to my liking, so make sure you are okay with that or not order at all. Ordered hot calamansi for my drinks and love love love calamansi, instead of ordering sodas, which is not healthy for me, so I will pay extra for hot calamansi less sugar syrup lol. And that’s it, hope you get this review helpful for your next visit to Gerry’s grill! Happy eating’

A go-to Sunday dinner spot in Central Bloc for me and my family 🥰✨️The staff are mainly friendly, attentive, and accommodating, although some are a bit aloof or less enthusiastic (but maybe they were just tired after a long day of rendering service). So far, I haven't ordered anything that I didn't like from this restaurant. Every dish was seasoned and cooked palatably. They were so tasty. 💖 Despite the prices being relatively on the higher end, the portion size, taste, and quality of the food make up for it. ✨️ My favorites are the Crispy Kangkong, Potato Nachos, Blue Marlin Steak, Gerry's Special Inihaw na Bangus, Bangus ala Pobre, and Pork Barbeque sticks among others. I really love how they season their meats, especially their fish. 😋 Personally, I think this is one of the best Filipino restaurants I've ever been to. *Disclaimer: Very few pics. Sorry ✌️

Rolan and the interne were incredibly helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. He was also very accommodating and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. We never had to ask twice for anything, as he was always one step ahead, anticipating our requests.

We can't say enough about the service provided by Rolan. His attentiveness was truly outstanding; he was constantly checking on our table without being intrusive. He went out of his way to cater to our every need, making our dining experience smooth and enjoyable. He's a true asset to the Central Bloc location.
