To say that we were disappointed is an understatement. We've been to other branches of Casa Verde and by far, this branch had the worst customer service we've experienced. We went there around 7PM on a Sunday and mind you there were only a few people dinning. First, I requested to be seated on a booth that is good for 4-persons thinking that it was okay because there are still too much space in the restaurant for a group to get settled but I was turned down by a staff so I asked another staff who then said 'sige nalang' which sounded like it was really a big deal for them, if it was they could've just explained it to me and I wouldnt have minded. Instead I got the reasoning of something like '2 persons rmn mo'. We are not an average individual who weights 45-50 kg and has thin bodies so of course we would request to be seated some where we were comfortable not to mention you still have more or less 35 VACANT seats. Moving on and there we were, now seating in the corner for supposedly 4-persons but what snapped in my mind was the fact that the menu was not handed to us when we were seated unlike the other guests there. I thought that was just something they missed when we came in and they will eventually come back to bring us our menu but nope, that didnt happen. WE HAD TO REQUEST FOR THEIR MENU while the other customers got it the same time they were seated. Anyway, not a big deal right? Well, we've waited long enough for our menu to be handed to us then we had to wait for another 10 mins to place an order? Exactly what is going on? If we didnt have the guts to leave, we'd have waited for our food to come in another hour. We are not paying for something average, we are paying for something above average which we already know is worth it but if the customer service is as less appealing as what they have here then forget it. We'd rather dine somewhere we know we will actually be treated as good as the other customers. If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Thank goodness the Ayala Branch had great customer assistance and we dined...
Read moreThis restaurant is serving mainly Filipino style American foods and being highly recommended by various reviews. The one that we visited is near the Crown and it seems converted from a residential house. The building outlook is cozy at night with comfortable atmosphere. However, the interior is quite standard with not much decoration, and due to crowded, it is a bit noisy. The foods are very small in size, we are very surprise that in some of the reviews, it was being described as "big in size" or "quantity can serve a family". We are pretty much disappointed when the foods being served, it is almost like dishes from kids menu which is absolutely insufficient for an adult. On top, it is very pricey, while serving average foods only. The high rating really confused us. The favourite Brian's Ribs is just an ordinary ribs and there is nothing special, and definitely will not be back for the ribs. However, the buffalo wings taste pretty good, which is beyond our expectation. Overall, in term of its high price while serving average foods only, it doesn't worth for a...
Read moreThis is my 4th time to dine at this location. The staff is wonderful and super friendly and has been consistently every time I have eaten here (even the security guard/parking attendant). The food today was not as good as it usually is. We ordered a burger, the ribs and the karlemare. The karlemare was delicious and fresh but the bacon on the burger was super hard and the ribs were quite tough. We have had both of these things in the past at other branches but it was not nearly the same. I have ordered the burger once before at this location and I don't recall the bacon having any problems. So I think maybe it was timing but this is the second time experiencing the ribs being tough. The flavor of everything was still spot on though. I do not want to give it anything but a 5 star because it was still such a good experience. We still were full and happy by the end...
