RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT KKD STK + BBQ! NEVER EATING THERE AGAIN!

I was expecting that they were a good choice for dinner with friends since it would be my second time at KKD. I asked their waiter if it’s fine to go in their veranda dining and he replied “Naray kalingkoran didto sir”. (There’s a place there sir)

Upon settling down, we waited for 5 minutes to have the table dished out from the previous customer. One waiter said “Ok”. After another 5 minutes, we sought help to have it dished out so that we can order, another waiter nodded his head. And another 5 minutes, a friend went down to follow up if we can have our table dished out so that we can start ordering.

Then came one of their waiters telling us “DIDTO LANG TA MOS UBOS SIR PARA DALI RA MALIMPYOHAN.” (IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF YOU WERE DOWNSTAIRS SO THAT WE CAN EASILY CLEAN IT.)

I was disappointed by his attitude given the fact that we extended our patience for them. If he and his people were not happy to have customers, better that they have closed their veranda dining area (even if there were 4 tables occupied by customers).

Not to make a scene, I decided that we leave KKD because of their rude customer service.

No one from their management even bothered to ask what was wrong.

It was the BEST DECISION I MADE TONIGHT.

And moving forward, NO MORE KKD STK + BBQ. Please do not make KKD as one of your...

When value meets quality! Their food is good to be shared for 3-4 pax, while the price ranges from Php 150-250. Upon first bite, you can really taste the authentic Filipino taste that's similar to that of Filipino fiestas and gatherings! Surely, one for the books.

Came on a busy Tuesday evening. There was a live band - which was surprising because it was a weekday. The place was fully-packed and we had a hard time looking for a table to seat 10 people. The waiters were warm enough to accomodate us. Our bill came in and it was just a little over Php 2000 - and that was already good for 10!

The veranda seating upstairs was cool, but the inside dining downstairs was too humid.

Accepts only cash as...

Suddenly there was a small guy came over to me, and asked me 'may I help you', I ignored him, I was afraid he was a scam...

after 10 mins I ask him where can I took taix or motorbike to back my hotel, and he is very kind, he started to help me hailed a taix.

First customer of the day, so was wary at first... But I was craving sutukil and intended to visit the museum across the street anyway... The food was great, no complaints. As an STK place, it would have been good to have an STK set meal, but as there wasn't I had to order them individually... Which turned into a pretty large table of food for one person's lunch! There was a big party behind me, which was fine... But after they all sang happy birthday the staff put on banging EDM, at 11am on a hitherto quiet Sunday morning. Incongruous and totally unnecessary for both the party and the atmosphere. Everything else though, great.

The staff are kinda unenthusiastic to be there, and the music was too loud-- it's not your job to play music for the entire street, my dudes! The food came kinda quickly and was delicious. There were flies everywhere, which might be difficult to control, but it annoyed us and other tables near us. Only the other filipinos seemed unbothered by them-- invest in citronella ! At one point, a stray cat jumped up to the balcony and slept under the table next to ours. The worst part of our experience was the flies, and that they charged 5% for accepting credit cards. Also, several of our menu picks were unavailable! Why?
