Where we preserve our old faith...
One of the nicest museums out here in Cebu City, might be only second to the National Museum as one of my favorites. There is an entrance fee of 50 pesos. The museum itself is divided into three sections: the chapel of relics, the second floor, and the garden. The chapel houses one of the largest collections of sacred relics I have seen and an old altar of a church. The second floor stores different kinds of icons and images of saints, as well as religious paintings, and a gallery and exhibit solely dedicated to the museum founder, the late Ricardo Cardinal Vidal. To sum up, it's nice to see the history behind every display and I am still in awe of the many relics. So if you want to know about the history and see the most treasured artifacts of the Archdiocese of Cebu and the Cebuano Roman Catholicism as a whole, this is definitely a place...
