I expected the sizzling gambas to be peeled. It somehow dampened the experience when I had to peel each shrimp (I ordered it versus buttered shrimp thinking it will have shelled shrimps) but it was tasty, not too hot or spicy (you can chew the green peppers if you want more kick and flavor). Their crispy pata was sumptuous, well-marinated and fried to perfection. Did not have the usual used/recycle oil taste that you get from other restaurants. I enjoyed it a lot! Their chopsuey did not swim in gooey sauce, was a generous portion, cooked al dente (not soggy/overcooked), done as it's supposed to be. My husband did not like the fried chicken he said it was dry, the breading was not the best (heavily coated with flour, not good batter). The attendants were attentive, polite and courteous. We got our food relatively fast. I love that their kitchen is open, you can see how clean it is. No issues with parking at all. I wish they added photos of the house back in its glorious days, and maybe some history behind it. The mansion and antiques inside will pique one's interest. It is a wonderful place even if we didn't get to explore it due to the rain. As others have said, it's spacious, well-ventilated, clean. Price wise, bang for buck. La Casa Vieja is very spacious and beautifully lit at night. The vibe here is so calming. The place is clean and stunning everywhere you look. It’s a great spot to dine in—an ancestral home offering authentic, affordable Filipino dishes!
Our experience with the service was good. One of the staff, was very attentive to us.
The food here is incredibly affordable. I was surprised by how low the price was for the crispy pata. We ordered sisig, crispy pata, pancit, calamares, chop suey, and pork sinigang. All were good quality and tasted great to us.
For the money, it’s an excellent value. This place is perfect for date nights! You can take lots of pictures because of how beautiful it is. It's also spacious enough to bring friends or family, with plenty of parking available. I definitely recommend it!

The place is huge — they can accommodate big events like wedding receptions. The ambiance is cosy, peaceful, and a little historic. When we went there for dinner, there was a live band playing. There are a lot of nice spots to take a picture. I think they also accept photoshoot venue service. There is also huge space for parking.
They serve Filipino dishes and their menu is affordable. The food is delicious and the serving size is just right. They were able to serve it very quick too! I recommend their crispy pata.
The service was okay. Their staff was able to accommodate us well and even our table was a bit far from their counter, they check on us from time to time should we need anything.
Overall, I highly recommend this place for any special occasions or even for an ordinary day to satisfy your food cravings...
