La Vie Parisienne
La Brigada de Cuisine of French and Italian in Gorordo Ave.
📌 371 Gorordo Ave, Cebu City, 6000 Cebu
📝 The ambiance is inviting and beautiful enough with colours lighting up your dinner experience. Yet, the place was indeed fancy with its vallet service and good looking french uniform girls doing services but the overall quality of the service is lacking and slow, and didn't expect it at all. The place is gorgeous for fancy dinner experience with fine dinning utensils set. But mostly they set your mood down of how crowded inside the front desk and by the way for now it is also self-serve meal. The food prices set is (₱₱₱-₱₱₱₱) it is also dissapointing that how the prices of the food is high but lacking service to you. The restroom. Yuck. They haven't made changes for the messieurs comfort room for the last time in 7 years, highly discourage for the fancy dinner set.
🤏 The food we get is margarita pizza, double pasta linguine with bolognese sauce and toppings with mushroom, bacon, and tomatoes, and lastly ice cream (gelato) with flavours of coffee, cheesecake, chocolate, mango, and etc. Margarita Pizza is quite fair, the taste is simple with mozarella cheese of base of the saltiness with the basil, But the dough is still raw, the toppings is easily to separate with the knife exposing the raw dough at the top and the pizza was hard to cut that you need to hire a carpenter. Bolognese Bacon Linguine, the pasta was good, nothing in fine quality, the pasta is freshly made, and the sauce is good either. But overall the food was nothing as fancy but low standard restaurant quality. The gelato, its ice cream is freshly made but some of the flavours are setting a bad taste especially with mango flavour expecting to be sweet and tangy but turns out to be sour.
⚖️ Conclusion: It is between bad and good, I'll give it a fair "okay but you need to improve what I stated above" not worsing it, I do my reviews honestly with good or bad experience, but the setting is sour. But I still recommend for this place for drinking wine or cheering drinms with your friends.

Read moreWent here during my first visit to Cebu. Very bad experience. Awful food and even worse customer service.
They had a 100-peso entrance fee per person (consumable). They also had a 200-peso spending minimum just to use card payment (so we couldn't buy bottled water AFTER having ordered and paid for all our food).
The food was so bland and poorly cooked. They also didn't offer to warm the pain au chocolat, the pasta tasted like nothing, and the pizza was run-of-the-mill. Then when my girlfriend wanted to add hot sauce to the pizza, the hot sauce exploded all over her because the bottle was over filled. The staff didn't offer to help her, even if she was already distressed because the hot sauce was burning. I had to ask for ice and tissue myself, otherwise the staff would not even have done anything.
Then when I went to use the bathroom, the lock was loose. I only found out when another guest had managed to accidentally open my cubicle door FROM THE OUTSIDE. Obviously, I was furious and asked to speak with their superior. The staff tried to give me the run around and took their sweet time to get their manager. Only for them to tell me that their manager and supervisor had both already gone home AT 2PM.
Then when I insisted to speak with someone, one of the waitresses took 20 mins trying to call their manager WHO WAS NOT PICKING UP. Finally, they were able to get a hold of their supervisor on the phone. I told him what happened, and I could tell that he wasn't genuine. It was like he was just waiting for me to finish talking, then he just said they would "investigate it". What was there to investigate?? All he had to do was apologize and offer to replace the bad food or to send someone to fix the bathroom door. Their staff is just horribly trained (if at all) and it was such a disappointing experience. Never...
Read moreLa Vie Parisienne offers a charming mix of French-inspired ambiance with delectable mostly Italian and French dishes in the heart of Cebu. The atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy but I do wish they had a bit more indoor dining space! Other than that, this makes for a great spot for casual dining or special occasions. Here's what we tried during our visit:
La Vie Pizza The La Vie Pizza was decent, though it didn’t stand out compared to the other dishes. The flavors were balanced, but it didn’t quite have that wow factor.
Truffle Mushroom Pizza On the other hand, the Truffle Mushroom Pizza was much better! The earthy truffle flavor combined with the mushrooms was a delicious pairing. The richness of the truffle made each bite indulgent and satisfying. Definitely a pizza worth coming back for.
Spaghetti Bolognese The Spaghetti Bolognese was a hearty and comforting dish. I appreciate freshly made pasta and the sauce had the right balance of meaty and tangy flavors. There was so much cheese as well so it makes it a solid choice for pasta lovers.
Aperol Spritz Cocktail The Aperol Spritz was lovely, light, and refreshing. While it was enjoyable, it could have been a bit stronger to fully elevate the cocktail’s flavor. Still, it was a pleasant drink to enjoy alongside the meal.
Dark Chocolate & Blueberry Gelato For dessert, we had the dark chocolate and blueberry gelato—both were simply amazing. The dark chocolate was rich, smooth, and indulgent, while the blueberry offered a bright and fruity contrast. A perfect end to the meal.
We’ll definitely be back to try more of their offerings. With its relaxing ambiance and solid menu, La Vie Parisienne is a...
