Be careful there is a scam!!! Never seen anything like this before!! The owner came up with his own rules that are against the laws of the Philippines and hung it on the wall that if you come in with your own food, you must pay a fine of 500 pesos. I am a tourist and when I go into an establishment I don't read what is written there and how. My friends were sitting and drinking beer, I joined them later and I had chips and water. I entered, no one told me anything about the rules, I sat down inside, ordered a salad, without saying anything about the rules, I opened the chips and water and started eating. The bartender stood and watched only what was happening and there were no warnings about the fact that you can't bring food into our establishment because of the fine, apparently he was very busy picking his nose. At the end he brings the bill and with a netish face says you must also pay a fine for coming with your own food. I started to explain that, sir, there were no warnings from you about my food, you were standing behind the bar and just watching, and what is written on your wall, I am not obliged to read it. He starts to argue, to play the fool, to say that the owner will demand this money from him, in general, a complete lack of customer focus and consideration of the situation. It was a matter of principle not to pay, since this is a common scam. The OWNER of this business, if you are reading this, know that you are a scammer and I will never set foot in your...
Read moreSol Cafe in Cebu, Philippines, is a delightful culinary oasis that combines great food with a relaxing atmosphere. During my visit to this charming cafe, I opted for the fried chicken special with fries and an egg roll, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed.
The fried chicken special at Sol Cafe is a true standout. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, with tender and juicy meat on the inside. The seasoning was spot on, adding a burst of flavor with every bite. It's clear that they take pride in their fried chicken, but it was a bit overcooked.
One of the highlights of Sol Cafe is its outdoor seating area. The ambiance here is truly special. The open-air setting allows you to enjoy your meal while soaking in the pleasant weather and the sounds of the surrounding environment. It's a perfect place to unwind, whether you're catching up with friends, reading a book, or simply savoring a cup of coffee.

If it really comes with coffee or whatever, rice. Cashier isn't proactive. 5.They have varieties or food choices in the menu to choose. 6.Prices are changed from time to time due to scotch tapes layered. 7.They have reliable wifi, enough to browse. 8.Overpriced Items , coffee is almost the price of major branded coffee shops. 9.Messy counter ,very confusing. Ambiance is so so. If you are someone organized and don't want distractions, this shop is not recommended for you. 11.They are 24 hours as posted. 12.Crews are nice but needs proper training.
