Señorita restaurant — Restaurant in Coron

Came to eat in this restaurant because I saw they had vegan Filipino food so I thought might as well eat lunch after a long ride to get here to Coron. Was really disappointed, I ordered the coconut tofu monggo… and it was not great.

Even if I don’t really like a meal I still eat from it specially when im hungry but I couldn’t eat that one. It tasted like it wasn’t freshly made , like it had been frozen or sitting on the fridge for a couple of days. there was a sour weird flavour (probably gone bad) the tofu as well wasn’t pleasant at all it also had a weird taste and smell. And The beans weren’t even cooked enough.

Mongoo is my favourite dish and this was def not what I’m used too eat at home or at least the dish I know of and have tried.

At least the fresh coconut was good filled me up a bit lol.

Staff were nice though! But I won’t be back For the price definitely...

Nice AC and fans available in the restaurant to allow an enjoyable meal.

The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming.

But above all else, the food here is amazing. We ordered a tofu sisig and chicken adobo with coconut milk.

The tofu kare kare was nicely fried but it did have a sour taste. I'm wondering if the tofu was old or spoiled? But the flavor of the kare kare was nice and peanutty. The color was on the muted side and resembled more of a gravy color. I wish they there was more vegetables in it as well.

The chicken adobo with coconut milk was delicious!!! This is a version I've never had before so it intrigued me when i saw it. The flavor was savory but also creamy from the coconut milk. It reminded me of thai coconut curry. It paired so so well with garlic rice.

Friendly service and highly recommended for an unforgettable meal.

Was excited to try this place for lunch. Sat down and ordered our food: 1 mango shake and 2 dishes. After 30 minutes wait, still no food, not even the shake to make us wait. Only at this point are we told one of the dishes isn't available so we just keep one dish order and ask for the shake again. Another 15 minutes later we are now told the mango shake is unavailable....... we waited overall 45 minutes to be served nothing and be told over half of our order is unavailable 🙃 so we left. Shame because the food seems good but the service is abysmal. Don't let your customers wait 45 minutes to let them know something is unavailable, it's just basic knowledge and...
