Blue Posts Boiling Crabs & Shrimps – Bajada — Restaurant in Davao City

I went to Boilings Davao in SM Ecoland. The food is tasty as always and I can only say good feedback about it. It's pretty expensive compared to when I last visisted probably because it's Holiday season?

I was only disappointed that they charged so much service charge without even serving drinking water (aparently this is not available). The only option is to buy a bottled water which they served at an unreasonable price considering they don't serve service water. They also added extra 200 in my bill without explaining it before taking the order. Because the service wasn't great, I asked for the service charge to be waived or minimise but the manager mentioned that it's already fixed in the system and they couldn't change it. He kindly offer to waive the 200 extra charge as they would deduct it from the waiter who received my order. I am quite disappointed that the company doesn't have allowance to absorb such loss and instead take it out from their employees who may be earning minimum wage. Anyway, I paid the whole bill as I don't want the waiter...

TRIGGER WARNING!! MOST PRICIEST FOOD EVER. NO SUGARCOATING.

To begin, this must be the most overpriced and inflated restaurant I've ever been. We arrived 5PM and the food was served 5:45. The staff showed us the crabs ranging 700-900 PHP per 100 grams. We then ordered their blue-post seasoning with mussels that cost so pricey with 1 piece of corn which costs 59 pesos. We then ordereda a garlic rice. Their SEASONING? it's a NO. The crabs, mussels and corn have a bitter taste. It's not even cooked with butter. You can't taste a pinch of salt or pepper. What we ordered is a grease with bitterness. The amount we paid for a piece of crab, mussel, corn, and a can of Sprite?...

First, i like the idea of the interior. It’s kind of unique in its way. The restaurant gives a different vibes and aura.

Cleanliness, yes. 4⭐️, you need to eat directly on the table with minimal use of utensils…and with paper cover ofcoure it should be clean.

Price: hmmm it is expensive. Be mindful of what you are ordering. My brother and I ordered only crabs and fish but our bill is af if we invited 15 guess if we eat at tong yangs..anyways, its delicious! I love the crunchiness of the garlic in every food…the sourness of lemon in the crab really compliments the flavor..5⭐️...
